2. Filter element of the air filter.

The designations of the filter element are as follows: 3102-1109013-02, -03, -04, -05, -06, -08, -09, -10, 31029-1109013, 31029-1109013-01, -02, -03 or 18.35. 04/20.00.00 or in 4202 or GB-99.

For this you need:

unscrew the filter with your hands for its top. When jealous, it is allowed to turn the filter with a 30 mm key for the hex on the top of the case 1;

take measures to exclude the engine to enter the engine;

to protect the oil cavity of the spacer 16 from possible pollution by closing it from the top of a clean rag;

carefully unscrew the nut 18 on the connecting oil rod 12, drain the oil from the filter housing;

disconnect sections 1 and 14 and replace the filter element 5;

check availability and proper installation of seal parts 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 13 and washers 17 according to fig. 8.13, connect the sections and secure the nut 18.

It is necessary to monitor the state of the upper rubber sealing ring 4 and replace it with the loss of elasticity and deformation.

Otherwise, the entry-filled oil will receive to the crankshaft bearings;

  • grease the gasket 15 with engine oil, put the filter on the engine, wrap it with its hands before the start of the gasket 15 and trust 0.5-1 turns;
  • to start the engine. If there is oil leaks, when the engine is running with an increased rotation frequency within a few minutes, entrust the filter with your hands. Tightening the key is not allowed.

A warning.

  1. Unacceptable or tightening nipple nuts of the full-flow filter tubes together with the transitional fitting. This requires preliminary fixation of the last key.
  2. The filter element in operation is subject to immediate replacement when the characteristic whistle from the triggering valve appears in the spacer 16 when the engine is running.
  3. It is forbidden to use the filter elements of KAMAZ cars, since, because of the greater height (by 10 mm), they rest in the upper part of the filter housing and do not let oil.
