Wiring diagram for VAZ 2108 carburetor low panel. Electrical diagrams for LADA Samara

27.09.2019

The electrical equipment of the entire LADA Samara family, as well as Samara-2, has generally the same circuit, differing only in nuances. This applies to both cars with carburetor and injection engines. The ECM of injection engines is not connected to the general wiring, and therefore does not depend on it.

All the diagrams below show a carburetor ignition system, but there is no need to be afraid of this: on injection cars there are simply no “carburetor” elements, and the ECM is connected separately with its own connection to the battery and is in no way connected with the main circuit of the car.

This electrical circuit diagram is presented V best quality . In fact it's the most current diagram of the VAZ-2108(09) remaining in service. The circuit is also interesting due to the presence of an internal circuit mounting block.

Another version of the scheme. The diagram can be used as an auxiliary diagram if something is not clear from the previous one.

Electrical diagram with "low panel"

A diagram of the mounting block is shown in detail - convenient for understanding the operating principle.

Electrical circuit diagram with "European panel"

The circuit has both an internal circuit of the mounting block and a wiring diagram for a Euro type instrument panel (Samara-2).

and tell me - the mounting blocks of the old and new models are identical in connection, i.e. interchangeable?

All diagrams do not make any reservations about the mounting block option, so they are highly likely to be interchangeable. But there may be minor non-critical discrepancies that most likely will not affect the work.

there is a diagram of the Samara electrical equipment with a low export panel - a carb with auto suction (two electric valves in the carb - xx at the bottom and I forgot 1 more by name), there is a separate lamp in the row where the emergency light button, additional rear dimensions and heated glass - Check ENGINE, there is an adsorber and along the way there is a lambda in the exhaust manifold after the manifold, but I don’t know exactly about this and I need a diagram!

Today, not a single car operates without the use of electric current. Schematic diagram The VAZ 2108 provides spark supply to the spark plugs and makes it possible to use a radio and GPS navigator. Using electrical wiring starting from the battery, voltage is supplied to all devices of the machine. First, the current flows to the fuses, then it is distributed to the road lighting lamps and devices. The wiring is also mounted on the interior lighting bulbs.

Auto electrical appliances

The VAZ 2108 carburetor is equipped with many electrical devices. The electricity generator is switched on when the engine starts. Its task is to convert mechanical force into electrical energy. The combination of a device with a voltage regulator is called a generator set. The output parameters of the device must ensure stable recharging under any engine operating modes battery while the car is moving.

The design and operating principle of all generators are almost the same. On various cars they may differ only in workmanship and size. To ignite the combustible mixture in the cylinders, the ignition coil supplies voltage to the spark plugs. Since each cylinder has its own power stroke, the distributor distributes sparks to the spark plugs, which are alternately supplied to the combustion chambers. The VAZ 2108 carburetor control system regulates the timing of the valve. This ensures timely opening of the dampers.

The generator stator is attached to the car body. Its front cover is located on the pulley side, the rear cover is on the other side, where slip rings. From the motor, mechanical force is transmitted to the rotor shaft through a belt. The stator itself is made of metal plates. Its winding, consisting of thin copper wires coated with insulating varnish, is placed in special grooves.

The rectifier consists of six diodes installed in a cooling radiator. The stabilizer maintains a constant voltage value, despite changes in the rotor speed, which varies depending on the engine load. The brush assembly has a collapsible design in which the brushes are pressed against the rings by springs.

Automotive wiring is mounted on the temperature sensor, fuel level indicators and battery charging indicators. Using wiring, all sensors are connected to dashboard. This way the driver can see all their readings.

All electrical wiring of the car is assembled into bundles, each of which has its own serial number. IN technical description information is given about which device is connected to each specific harness.

Major electrical malfunctions

Compared to the VAZ 2108 injector, the carburetor is equipped with a simpler wiring diagram. This is due to what is missing here electronic control fuel injection, and the process of supplying gasoline to the combustion chamber is carried out mechanically.

The proper operation of electrical equipment is usually checked with a voltmeter. With its help, the following faults are determined:

  • when turning the key the ignition does not turn on;
  • the starter does not work;
  • the engine does not start;
  • the stove does not heat;
  • the generator does not produce the required voltage;
  • The lighting lamps do not light up.

The electrical circuits of the turning lamps are combined with the circuits alarm. Old VAZ The 2108 carburetor has a circuit for supplying voltage to these bulbs, connected to one fuse.

Possible damage Your actions
When a turn signal does not work. First you need to check the light bulb for the integrity of the spiral. If the lamp does not burn out, check the socket contacts. They may become oxidized, which will cause contact with the light bulb to disappear.
When both brake lights do not work, it is likely that the fuse has failed. In this case, you need to remove it and ring it with a tester. If it does not ring, then it should be changed.
When one brake light does not work. The reason most often is a burnt out bulb or poor contact. You need to check the light bulb and, if it is working, clean the contacts with sandpaper.
Failure of rear light electrical equipment. One of the reasons for this may be a blown fuse. Through it, voltage is supplied first to the sensor, and only then to the backlight bulbs reverse. If the fuse turns out to be normal, then you need to do the following. Disconnect the green and orange wires from the sensor plug and connect them together. After this, turn on the ignition and look at the rear light bulbs. Their glow will indicate that the sensor needs to be replaced.

Many car owners, after the reversing light fails, believe that the problem is not very significant. But when turning around at night in a narrow courtyard, there is a high probability of colliding with some kind of fence or tree, which is very difficult to see in the dark. This may cause damage to the rear bumper.

To avoid an accident, it is better to fix the problem immediately.

The Guide to Figure Eight Patterns is intended for self-repair car for minor electrical problems. The electrical circuits are divided into several blocks (for ease of viewing via a computer or phone), there are files in the form of a single picture with a description of each element - for printing on a printer. Years of production of this model: from 1984 to 2014.

The front ones were installed on the car disc brakes and rear drums, independent suspension, both front and rear, rack and pinion steering and a single-wire system for connecting electrical equipment (one wire passes from the energy source, and the role of the second is played by the car body - mass).

Ignition circuit for VAZ 2108

VAZ 2108 vehicles use a non-contact ignition system. There is no breaker in it, and the moment of sparking is controlled electronically. Below is its electrical diagram and a description of the main elements.

  1. Accumulator battery. Provides electrical current when starting the engine.
  2. Generator. Provides electric current when the car engine is running. In particular, it powers the ignition system.
  3. Fuse and relay mounting block. Serves for switching low voltage wires, in particular the ignition system.
  4. Ignition coil. Provides high voltage current to the ignition distributor.
  5. Switch. Provides a pulse for sparking (opening the power circuit of the primary winding of the ignition coil) in one or another cylinder according to a signal from the Hall sensor.
  6. Hall Sensor. Generates a control pulse (reducing voltage) for the switch, signaling the need for sparking in one or another engine cylinder.
  7. Ignition distributor (distributor) with vacuum and centrifugal ignition timing regulators. Serves to generate a control pulse to the switch (Hall sensor), distribute high voltage pulses across the spark plugs (“slider”), correct the ignition timing in accordance with the engine operating mode (centrifugal and vacuum regulators).
  8. High-voltage wires (armored wires). They serve to transmit high voltage current from the ignition coil to the distributor cover and then to the spark plugs.
  9. Egnition lock. Serves to close the ignition system circuit. Through it, electric current flows into the ignition system.
  10. Ignition relay. Serves to relieve the contacts of the ignition switch (lock) and supply voltage to the coil and switch.
  11. Spark plug. Serve to generate a spark in the engine cylinders.

One of essential elements circuit is a photoelectric Hall sensor built into the ignition distributor. With its help, the BSZ (non-contact ignition system) fixes the position camshaft engine and determines the moment of spark formation.

When the car engine starts and during its further operation, the Hall sensor at the right times generates electrical impulses necessary for the formation of a spark at certain times. These pulses are then sent to an electronic switch, which amplifies them and transmits them to a high-voltage coil.
