  • First of all, it is necessary to wash the circle on which the coolant goes. For this, a special solution is acquired in specialized automotive stores, which is poured into a tank with antifreeze. Next should be launched for 5-10 minutes (no more than) engine, during which time it should warm up to operating temperature. When the cooling fan turns on, this suggests that the motor is warm and can be turned off, ending the flushing of the system.

  • Next, it is necessary to merge the spent coolant liquid. Prepare a special container and put it under the bottom of the car. After that, unscrew the stopper for Tosola drains and wait until it follows from the tank.

  • When the oil cooler will be removed, it must be sorted out and clean well, removing worn gaskets. New seals are installed on their place, which should be purchased for specific model car;

  • Replacing the gaskets of the oil cooler, you need to remove the cooling fluid tank and clean it well. If the tank has explicit signs of wear, it is better to replace it with a new one;
  • Next, the tank and the oil cooler are installed in place and the washing of the system begins. Distilled water will be required to flush the cooling system. Pour it into the tosol tank and start the engine, disconnecting blowing the cabin and turning on all voltage consumers (to quickly display the engine on operating temperature). When the engine warms up and the fan starts to work, you need to turn off all the consumers and turn on blowing the cabin. In such a state, the motor must be allowed to work for a few minutes (about 10), after which it will cool and turn off the fan. Next, it will be necessary to drown out the engine and wait 15-20 minutes until the distilled water is cooled, poured into the coolant tank;

  • Coolest water can be merged, after which it will be necessary to pour a new portion of distilled water and reappear the cleaning procedure described in the last paragraph;
  • Next, the water is again merged, after which it is possible to pour a cooling fluid into the tank, which the car manufacturer recommends to use;
  • The final step will be the removal of the resulting air traffic jams. Plant comrade into the car and ask him to start the engine. After that, it should press the gas pedal several times, while you should simultaneously squeeze the cooling system nozzle (at this moment the lid of the expansion tank is closed). Next, you will need to open the tank cover, so that the excess air is released, after which the replacement of the oil cooler can be considered completed.

  • If the replacement of the gasket of the oil cooler did not help and the oil continues to fall into antifreeze, you can try to replace the cylinder block laying or contact the service center.
