Technical characteristics remained the same: V engine 1.8l, front-wheel drive... However, Tingo did not claim the title of "super-powerful beast", and is unlikely to be. He has a different niche, different goals and objectives.

Cushioning, despite the use of MacPherson strut technology in the A-pillars and reinforcement rear suspension hydraulics, leaves much to be desired. The driver and passengers feel the unevenness of the road literally with their whole body. Also, when hitting small bumps and pits, the steering wheel vibrates slightly: not the most pleasant feelings for the driver. 19 cm clearance (clearance) will allow you to drive on curbs and other small hills. What creates an advantageous position when parking in places that are not accessible passenger car... But the obvious off-road is not worth experiencing with Tingo: with front-wheel drive, this does not lead to anything good. And it is not positioned as an SUV in any way.

Finally, luggage compartment Tingo has a volume of 420 liters, which can be increased by folding the rear row of seats. But the folding mechanism is not strong enough, and therefore drivers recommend handling it as carefully as possible.

Engine, suspension, handling

Nevertheless, even the new Tingo Vortex is not devoid of shortcomings, but according to the firm conviction of a number of motorists, it does consist only of such. For this reason, it is necessary to objectively and comprehensively study the vortex based on the experience of its direct owners in order to finally assess it.

So, the most common problem faced by most Tingo owners is vehicle vibration. The fact is that in the speed range between 80 and 100 km / h, a strong and unpleasant vibration affects the transmission of a car, the cause of which is not known for certain. Representatives of TagAZ and Cheri declare that the problem lies in the features of the driveshaft, but they do not offer any ways to eliminate the deficiency. The drivers themselves, after detecting vibration, strive not to exceed the speedometer mark of 80 km / h unnecessarily. Moreover, after a speed of 100-110 km / h, the car begins to behave somewhat unpredictably.

Also quite often there are complaints about the assembly of the Tingo. It is for the assembly, and not for the quality of the interior, which we have already mentioned above. We are talking about not tightening nuts, screws, clamps directly by the craftsmen of the Taganrog plant. But purchasing a car in a showroom saves you from having to carry out a small additional repair right after the purchase.

Along with the assembly, questions are also raised by technical fluids poured into the car. Many car enthusiasts were unhappy with the fact that when buying a new tingo, they were not provided with information about the filled oil and about the manufacturers recommended for use. However, the vortex has shown its unpretentiousness in this matter. But experienced drivers it is recommended to drain all liquids immediately after purchase, if we are talking about a new car, and fill the containers yourself with others you know and trust.

Even with the disadvantages of Tagaz vortex tingo worth buying if your goal is inexpensive, but moderately comfortable and of high quality vehicle... It will take a little tinkering with it, but it fully justifies the purchase price.

We shoot expansion tank... We drain the antifreeze if we change the pump. We remove the protection from below, if there is one, and we slightly tweak the engine. We also remove the front right wheel and a plastic mudguard. We unscrew the engine support, four bolts and two nuts and dismantle it.

As usual, all sorts of tubes get in the way, so some of the bolts in the photo are not visible. But you will find them without any problems. Without the pillow, the engine looks like this.

With a key of sixteen, we turn the automatic belt tensioner until it looses and remove the belt of the ancillary units. The spring is serious there, so you have to sweat. In the photo, the belt is already removed.

We remove the tensioner, it interferes with unscrewing one of the bolts of the protective casing. It is not necessary to unscrew the upper bypass roller if there is no backlash.

We unscrew six small bolts of the crankshaft pulley and one large lower idler roller and remove them.

We turn the crankshaft so that the mark is approximately parallel to the floor and looks towards the front bumper. And we put our mark on the casing. You will need it for later verification.

Remove the rest of the engine mount by unscrewing three bolts. The bolts rest against the spar and I wished the designers health for a long time while I was trying to pull it out.

Then remove the upper timing belt cover. We turn off four bolts to the cut and one in the middle, which is invisible from no angle. Not all hex bolts!

We mark the camshaft pulleys anywhere, preferably two marks opposite each other.

We remove the armored wires, unscrew the candles and turn off the camshaft sensor. We unscrew the twelve bolts and remove the valve cover.

Since oil protruded from under the gasket, it was replaced. In general, I recommend changing all the gaskets that were removed, this will save you from unnecessary work in the future.

If the camshaft mark is facing the front bumper, then the grooves on the camshafts should be facing each other. They are indicated by an arrow. And the slots in the ends should be parallel to the upper plane of the cylinder head. If this is not so, turn them a little by the crankshaft. We insert our freshly made special tool into them. Since the client was in a hurry, we forgot how to take the main photos as always. I had to remember the school drawing course. The special tool is marked in red.

Since the first marks did not hit a little, we put two more marks in a different color on the camshaft pulleys and the cylinder block opposite the crankshaft mark. The more labels we put, the easier it is to check later and the less chance of an error. The main thing is not to get confused, two groups of labels are quite enough.

We unscrew the tension roller bolt and turn it a little with a hexagon until the belt looses. Remove the timing belt.

We change the tensioner and two bypass rollers.

We unscrew the six bolts securing the pump and remove it.

And here is the new pump.

Lubricate the gasket with a thin layer of sealant, and put the pump in place. All dealer repair manuals say that along with replacing the timing belt, all the rollers and the pump change, regardless of their condition. I believe this is correct! It is not uncommon for a greedy client to return a month later with a whistling pump or roller and pay for all the work in full again. Miser pays twice.

We put in place all the rollers and the belt itself. The downward branch of the belt must be tightened, otherwise the marks will shift when the belt is tightened.

We stretch it with a roller until the arrow and the groove coincide. We use a hexagon.

Tighten the roller mounting bolt. We take out our special tool.

We check the coincidence of the marks on the camshaft pulleys and the crankshaft. We put the lower protective casing, on which our first mark is. We bring the crankshaft to it and check the coincidence on the camshafts. If everything is normal, we turn the crankshaft two turns and making sure that the valves do not meet the pistons, we check the marks again. Now we put everything that was filmed in place. Fill in antifreeze and start the car. Now you can safely replace the timing belt on your Acteco engine. The procedure is not easy, but if you are careful and do not be too lazy to double-check yourself several times, you can do it without much effort.

Basically, the Acteco SQR481FC unit was installed on the vortex tingo and chery tiggo, but there are cars with Mitsubishi 4G63S4M and Mitsubishi 4G64S4M engines, most often it is Cherie Tigo engine... The Acteco vortex motor is a two-camshaft 16-valve, a displacement of 1.8 liters, an engine power of 132 horses at 5750 rpm.

The declared fuel consumption on this engine is 11.4 liters. in the city and 6.9 liters. on the highway, in fact, of course, the consumption may be more, it all depends on your driving style. Fuel tank with a volume of 55 liters.

Engines manufactured for Chery Tigo under license from Mitsubishi 4G63S4M (volume 2 liters and power 125 horses) and 4G64S4M (volume 2.4 liters and power 130 Horse power) have one camshaft and, accordingly, 8 valves. Many car manuals recommend depressing the clutch when starting. Such a squeeze is only needed to start the Chery Tigo engine in severe frost; in warm weather, you can squeeze the clutch so as not to move if you accidentally forgot to remove the engaged gear. With such a start, a significant force is transferred to the crankshaft bearing, and in cold weather it does not receive lubricant for a long time. Blue smoke from exhaust pipe indicates that oil has entered the combustion chamber, and if the smoke is constant, then this is a sure sign heavy wear cylinder - piston group. The appearance of smoke during re-gasing can be a sign of wear on the valve stem seals.

If the smoke is black, it is a re-enriched mixture. The reasons may be a malfunction of the control system or the injector. Gray or thick white smoke is a sign of coolant entering the combustion chamber through a punched cylinder head gasket. In this case, liquid may also get into the oil, and the oil becomes like a cloudy emulsion.

Overheating of the engine

To prevent this from happening, often look at the temperature gauge on the instrument panel. Overheating may occur not only through your fault, for example, the thermostat may fail or the electric fans will not turn on at the right time, or there may be antifreeze leak from the cooling system. In any case, if it overheats, never turn off the engine right away - otherwise it will get heatstroke and after cooling it may not start at all.

Better stop at the side of the road and let the motor run on idle... Turn on the interior heater to maximum power so that it takes some of the heat to your radiator. Open the hood carefully, but DO NOT OPEN THE RADIATOR COVER. Better to water the radiator with cold water. Only when the temperature has dropped, stop the engine.
