Despite the more complex fastener knot with the lid, Megapower also did not bring big trouble. But still the lid and the slim tongue of the latch require when removing the brush, first remove the gloves. The design of the design mechanism DENSO turned out to be more tight, which greatly complicates and removal, and the installation, especially when snow is stuffed inside the adapter. But they hold it more densely, almost without backlash. It is even more difficult to remove Bosch, requiring accurate synchronous pressing with your fingers on the clagging on both sides. But they are put on it very easily - not more difficult than Valeo. Champion's capricious installation was Champion, despite the simplest execution of the fastener. Because of the tight landing on the wiper lever, the adapter holds on it more than on the brush - and when removing it remains on the lever. And everything would be nothing, but after installation, it is necessary to make sure that the adapter did not jump off the lever - otherwise, during the work, the brush can at the most inappropriate moment from it to slip, or even flutter. But when the adapter is fastened as it should, Champion keeps firmly and practically not peeling.

Liquid water and hard

On the other hand, watering from the hose on the fifteen-pervantous frost adds unnecessary complexity to testing process, including with an objective assessment of the result. Therefore, on the entire surface of the windshield is evenly applied from the spacing non-freezing liquid. I don't get taking place until it starts to flow abundant threads. The lever of janitors to the position of a single wave - and look at the result. But there is nothing to compare: to our surprise, everyone is equally purely, without fluttering, traces and strips. Excellent!

Now complicate the task. There were brushes perfectly clean - will be in the snow. Okuunay, without wiping after the first task, testing for some time in a snowdrift, we get out, look at and, without shaking down, let me go to work: we make one-time swab in pure glass. After snow bathing on all brushes, there were surrounding snowflakes. Most of all DENSO, as the snow has been hammered under the spoiler, the smallest of both framework models - Champion and Megapower. As a result, only these two pairs did not legate on the glass. Three other models left approximately the same minimum wet stripes. At the same time, completely unexpectedly DENSO, having gaining the snow most, they even gave a slightly smaller bands than frameless competitors.

Ice Testing

Develop the topic of icing on. Sometimes, after a wet thaw, cold comes sharply - and the windshield is covered with an icy crust. Similarly, it is frozen and brushes, even if they are thrown into the windshield. But the tendency to icing differs from them: the ice glaze in different ways grabbing various materials in different ways, even if they are all called the general word "rubber". For clarity, wet brushes send to the freezer, where -20 ° C. And the next day we get out, and, isolating from home heat, we take out to the street, where -10 ° C. We unfold, studying the land, paying attention to the preservation of the elasticity of the mechanism and the icing of the working edge. And what? The least did the edge of the MEGAPOWER's edge - there was almost no ice on it. Well, fluoroplast is not often used in industry as precisely anti-icing coating. Graphite turned out to be less racks: the rest of the brushes on the working edge was stronger, but also in different ways. To lesser extent, Bosch and Champion, the smallest is more - at Valeo. But the worst of everything DENSO was treated. These brushes became the only ones, in whom the ice violated the correct work of the joints, which is why the entire mechanism has lost flexibility and elasticity. During the experiment, Denso was igniped inside, and therefore if they were on the car, they would have to clean them for a long time or even removed and shred.

Like snow on the head

The most severe test for winter brushes is a heavy snowfall. And if you often drive around the narrow forest paths, then also falling from the trees of the drifts when the roof of a high car clings low hanging ribs. So, imitate the snow ... with the help of snow. We abundantly throw it on the windshield, trying to distribute white cover as uniform as possible. The heated engine is working, and the salon stove blows from the inside on the glass at the second fan speed of four possible. It supports the optimal temperature on the outer surface: the snow cover slowly picks up and tries to start adhere to cold broth. Again one sweep - and look at the result. If not sufficiently clean, we continue to rub, counting the wave.

What this experiment reminded autumn exercise with wet mud. Here, too, to get an objective result, I had to repeat the same one and the same with each pair of brushes and track the trend. The results of each specific measurement influenced how the snow was painted on the glass: to achieve uniform in the height and density of the snow cover on the whole windshield, and even in every attempt it was physically impossible. Plus, in the course of work, it turned out that strongly worsen the results of solid contemplated snow removal drifts from the glass, fed at the base of janitors during the experiment. They simply press the levers from the glass, reducing the strength of the clutch clamp. Therefore, for an objective assessment, it was necessary to remove these crowded closes each time - and, in the end, we achieved a reliable repeatability of the results, allowing to draw conclusions. Best of all, the task from the first swift brushes coped Bosch. - Almost always perfectly clean, with minimal traces and flutters. The rest for the same purity was required at least two passages. After the first time Valeo., Champion and DENSO. left small robust stripes and stains, a little more humidity was bred Megapower. The second wave again changes the picture: MegaPower is rehabilitated, bringing glass to almost the perfect state, and DENSO and leave it dry at all. But the Champion progress is less pronounced - it still leaves thin wet stripes. But even worse the result of Valeo: these brushes besides the bands leave wet stains, so for comparable with ridges of dry glass they need three crackles.

The stand tests left a lot of reasons for thought, determining the leading models among competitors, but showing a relatively small scatter of results in all exercises between the first and last. Winter tests during trips in all manifestations of winter weather added to our test of living details.

Pushkin very accurately called this state of the weather - "Mettel made". It was just that everything was clean and almost clear, light snowflakes melted in small drops on the glass - and now everything is cracked white pellets, and heavy snow flakes seem to carry on you with a solid dense flow. The wipers do not have time to cope with the volumes of lying snow, and he does not have time to melt from warm glass ... Soon in the corners and on the brushes themselves, dense icy crust is merged. It is becoming more and recruited on all models, including Bosch, which is officially written that the ice does not act about them.

But despite this, all winter brushes do very adequately with their work. Not without stripes and flips, but they continue to maintain enough glass cleanliness for a safe ride in these most difficult winter conditions. Sometimes, however, quite rarely, all subjects demand to smoke the gaining ice - as a rule, it falls off independently before it starts noticeably spoil the job of janitor. According to our observations, how quickly flies and how firmly it is kept, it depends on the practice, first of all, from the weather and to a lesser extent from the broth model. But in all conditions, it is better for others during work self-cleaning from the prickly ice of Champion and Megapower. The fact is that these worked models have a working edge above, and more flexible than everyone else.

However, the tension of the blizzard was very adequate even DENSO, despite the semi-open design of the hinge-spring mechanism. Their spoiler turned out to be surprisingly effective - on the move the snow was almost not clogged inside the frame. And even in the parking lot, when the brush was completely covered after heavy snowfall, the thick of the snow was covered, all their hinges retained mobility. The main thing is that at this time there are no surrounding transitions there and here through zero.

In a thaw on a lively highway with a dirty suspension over the expensive stretching train behind each truck, the janitars have to work almost increasingly. And then they are not easier than in the blizzard. In addition, it is possible to use a washer periodically - otherwise the dirt is recruited on the working edge and traces begin to remain.

But even so much to achieve perfection is not easy: too much water - the left brush on the reverse course drags her for a few centimeters over the entire height, too little water - dirty stripes appear. And so all models. But with a small difference in the results: in such conditions, Bosch and Denso brushes work, a little worse - Valeo and Megapower, and stronger the rest is champion.

However, while the brushes are new, the difference in the results was not so great. But we experienced them, periodically alternating, all winter - and by the spring the differences gradually began to become more clearly. Although, we must pay tribute, no model gave up ahead of time. So you can be sure that the season of any of our test kits should be enough.

Outcome

Differences in the effectiveness of new brushes, according to the results of winter tests, were not very high. Yes, and the direct dependence of quality from the price was violated. However, the most expensive model Bosch Aero Tween deservedly ranked first in the summary results of all tests - and it can be safely recommended to those whom the price is to a lesser extent. Suddenly, detenso hybrid brushes were very worthy, the design of which seemed little adapted for winter. They can be quietly "forgetting" to move after the summer season - and they will continue to work as if nothing has happened. Therefore, the lane for the priceless model Valeo is simply devoid of economic meaning, since in most tests gave "hybrid". Champion also passed his championship positions: in a blizzard with large snowflakes, he copes well with his work, but the mud suspended in the air gives him hard. In the same conditions, more cheaply closed Megapower behave at least, no worse, and sometimes even something better. And in general, according to the results of current tests, they show the best value for money.
