In mid-April 2015, the German automaker presented the new generation Volkswagen T6 van, which, like it, has several different versions: Multivan, Transporter and Caravelle.

Like most modern representatives of the brand, the new model Volkswagen T6 2017-2018 received only evolutionary external changes, while in the profile view the car is practically indistinguishable from the car of the previous generation.

Distinctive features of the Volkswagen T6 2017 in the new body are redesigned bumpers, retouched radiator grille and hood, modified lighting technology with diode sections, as well as a different trunk lid.

Inside, the minivan is greeted with a completely new front panel, a different steering wheel and gearshift lever, as well as improved trim materials. In honor of the launch of the novelty, the manufacturer has prepared a limited edition special version of the T6 model called "Generation SIX".

This option is designed in the style of the classic Volkswagen Type 2 van (the Type 1 index belongs to the original Beetle) with a two-tone body paint, a chrome package, 18-inch wheels of a special design, Alcantara trim in the cabin and an extended list of standard equipment.

The power units for the Volkswagen T6 Transporter / Miltivan (passenger) are a 2.0-liter TSI petrol with a capacity of 150 and 204 hp, as well as a new two-liter diesel engine with the EA288 Nutz index, available in 84 recoil options. , 102, 150 and 204 hp All options meet the environmental standards "Euro-6".

The van is available with an adaptive Dynamic Cruise Control chassis with three operating modes: Comfort, Normal and Sport. Also offered for a surcharge are heated windshields, a monitoring system for "blind" zones, adaptive cruise control and an electrically operated tailgate.

Not everyone will like it, however, for good asphalt the suspension settings in Sport mode are quite convincing.

Caravelle is an expensive car, especially in the Trendline configuration. But this is the right investment. Almost like real estate. The fact is that the price of a used Caravelle is in no hurry to fall, and spare parts are always in price. Analysts of the automotive market say that it is possible to buy a T5 with a passenger compartment in the secondary market, but not cheaper than 1.5-1.8 million. This applies to three-year-old buses. A five-year or seven-year-old Volkswagen T5 in the Caravelle version can be bought up to a million, depending on the configuration. Diesel atmospheric modifications are in special demand, and for some reason small turbocharged gasoline engines are the worst sold in Russia.
