Dmitry Medvedev appreciated the handling of the Kiryusha. Press about us Tractor k 4 kiryusha technical characteristics

04.08.2021

The sixties for the Soviet Union were marked by many significant events in the development of the economy and various sectors of the national economy, including the production of its own heavy tractors Kirovets.

The DT-54 and DT-75 tractors that existed at that time (54 and 75 hp) did not have sufficient power to perform large-scale tasks, were not suitable for the development of virgin lands, intensive operation in difficult conditions.

The task was to create powerful units.

The first K-700 machine entered the field in 1962, and after 7 years the Kirovsky plant in Leningrad produced 20 thousand tractors annually.

The 215-horsepower John Deere 8010 Goliaph tractor became the prototype for Kirovets.

Since it was not possible to purchase this tractor, a new Wagner WA14 tractor (Canada) was purchased in Sweden, which has a similar design.

The designers disassembled the machine down to a screw and created on its basis the heavy tractor Kirovets K-700.

Wheeled tractors Kirovets were originally intended for complex field work in aggregation with a variety of agricultural implements.

In addition, powerful units perfectly coped with road, transport, construction, land reclamation works. Over the years, about 500 thousand Kirovets tractors have rolled off the assembly line.

Today the company JSC "Kirovsky Zavod" has significantly expanded its own areas of activity, including power engineering, metallurgical production, and other areas.

The development and production of agricultural machinery is carried out by a subsidiary of JSC Petersburg Tractor Plant.

The lineup

The St. Petersburg Tractor Plant produces 7 modifications of the Kirovets tractors and 17 models of special and road-building equipment created on the basis of Kirovets: bulldozers, asphalt rollers, front-end loaders, forestry machines, scrapers, dump trucks, tractors.

In August 2017, a modern modification of the K-424 was launched into production, one of the latest developments.

The new tractor K-4 belongs to the 4th traction class, much less in weight and dimensions of its older brother, and has already managed to get the affectionate name "Kiryusha".

The prototype K-424 has been tested in 7 regions of Russia since 2015.

  • K-424 is equipped with an economical 6-cylinder diesel engine with a motor life of 10 thousand hours, automatic transmission ZF, powerful hydraulic system, unified coupling device
  • Carrying capacity of the front and rear attachments, respectively 4.5 t and 6.5 t
  • Weight of "Kiryusha" 10.0 t, overall dimensions 6.9x2.5x3.4 m, agrotechnical clearance 0.5 m
  • The volume of the dual fuel tank is 700 liters.
  • The unit has an articulated frame, which significantly increases maneuverability and expands the capabilities of the tractor
  • Spacious, air-conditioned two-seater cab designed to modern automotive standards
  • The base model has a power of 240 hp, work is underway to create tractors Kirovets 3 of the traction class with a power of 190 hp.
  • "Kiryusha" is intended for small and medium-sized agricultural farms with an area of 500-2000 hectares

K-700

Initially, the tractor had a power of 220 hp. A few years later, a modification of the K-700A with a capacity of 235 hp was developed, with an increased wheelbase and track, radial tires, a manual gearbox with shifting without breaking power.

Kirovets was so productive that he worked 2 hectares of arable land in an hour, thereby replacing three DT-54 tractors, and was perfectly aggregated with 53 types of attachments.

Kirovets K-700

Outdoor furniture-701

This unit of the 5th traction class significantly differed from the previous model; improvements appeared in its design: two fuel tanks, an original turning device from two breaking half-frames, which were hinged together.

Gears were switched on the move, there were no springs. Versions K-701-01-ZST and K-70102-ZST were developed, differing in engine power.

Technical characteristics of the Kirovets tractors:

The K-701 had a number of disadvantages: the forward-shifted center of gravity (due to the specific location of the engine) made the car unstable in difficult areas, there was no elastic suspension suspension, complex repairs were only available with additional lifting devices.

The machines were also criticized because of the excessive pressure on the soil.

In the mid-eighties, the third generation of the Kirovets K-701M tractors with a capacity of 335-350 hp appeared, and the production of the K-700 and K-701 was discontinued in 2002.

It is not easy to find 701 models even on the used equipment market, their price is in the range of 360-500 thousand rubles. Modified K-701-M1 models, which are being produced now, cost at least 1.2-1.4 million rubles.

Outdoor furniture-703

Petersburg Tractor Plant produces a unique agricultural tractor-transformer K-703M-12-03.2 with a capacity of 350 hp.

The versatile machine has an articulated design, a lifting capacity of 6 tons, and performs a wide range of heavy agricultural work.

Tractors of the K-704 series are manufactured by the Petersburg Machine-Building Plant under the STANISLAV trademark.

The abbreviation stands for the first letters of the name: agricultural tractor for agricultural purposes, engineering construction,
forestry, road, military-industrial use.

The universal agricultural tractor K-704-4R "STANISLAV" is produced in 4 modifications - "Classic", "Optimum", "Combi", "Universal".

Machines of 5-9 traction class are multifunctional, available within the power range of 240-400 hp, original scientific and technical developments were used in their creation.

K-734, K-744

Cars K-734 (250 hp) and K-744 (350 hp) belong to the fourth generation of tractors, the models appeared in 1995 as a result of joint development with German engineers.

These versions were initially supplied abroad, there was practically no one in the country to buy such expensive equipment at that time. After 5 years, the K-744R model appeared, adapted to the realities of the domestic market and the CIS countries.

The K-744R line was produced with an engine power of 250, 300, 350 hp.

The tractor axles have self-locking differentials, the rear axle has a rigid connection, the front axle is fixed to the frame using springs with hydraulic shock absorbers.

Dimensions of the tractor with a raised hitch: 7.1x2.865x3.845 m, lifting capacity 8500 kg.
A powerful machine is capable of providing effective processing of at least 5 thousand hectares of an area during the season.

Kirovets K-744 copes well with any household and construction work - clearing snow, loading and transporting heavy loads, is used as a tractor and towing vehicle.

In 2014, the K-744 model underwent a total modernization, since 2016 the newest automatic transmission T5, equipped with the "Commandpost" system, has been installed on the tractor.

The noise level has been significantly reduced, great attention has been paid to the ergonomics of the cab, the design of the agricultural hitch has been improved, a modern towing device has been installed, and the hydraulics have been additionally developed.

The electrical equipment and steering systems have been modernized, the design of the tractor has become more modern.

Eight general-purpose modifications have been developed within the power range of 300-428 hp. traction class 5-8: P1, P2, P3, P4.

Each of the models is available in two versions "Standard" and "Premium". Standard machines are equipped with engines of the Tutaevsky Motorcycle Plant TMZ-8481, the premium class is equipped with Mercedes OM460LA engines, which are distinguished by their economical fuel consumption.

The uniqueness of the modernization was manifested in the possibility of retrofitting the tractor with additional equipment:

  • A special set for "changing" the tractor to a caterpillar track.
  • Bulldozer blade.
  • Set for mechanical protection in the development of virgin and fallow lands.
  • A set for doubling wheels.

The price of the K-744R tractors in the standard configuration is 6.7-7.7 million rubles, the premium segment - 9.2-9.8 million rubles. In addition, domestic equipment can be profitably purchased on lease with a good discount from the manufacturer.

TO-9000

K-9000 is not a specific model, but a prototype of several modifications of the sixth generation Kirovets tractors. The line belongs to the 9th traction class.

The last three digits in the marking indicate the power of the machine. In terms of technical characteristics, the tractor is not inferior to the best world models, the price on the market is quite affordable and much lower than foreign equipment.

The machines are designed to handle vast areas of up to 5,000 hectares, and generate at least 3 thousand operating hours per season.

Features of the K-9000 series:

  • Diesel engine power MERCEDES-BENZ 345-516 HP
  • Fuel tank - 1030 l.
  • The presence of an automatic fuel heating system.
  • The articulated frame provides high maneuverability.
  • Use of POWERSCHIFT and TWINDISK systems for optimal gear shifting.
  • The use of the WALTERSCHIED three-point linkage to ensure the operation of attachments capable of withstanding loads of 10.0 tons.

Operation and maintenance

Over the years of operation, the Kirovets tractors have demonstrated rational technical characteristics, good traction, unpretentiousness in operation and maintenance.

The advantages of the Kirovets tractors are undeniable - reliability, high maintainability, durability, efficiency, increased productivity, affordable service.

Machines efficiently perform tasks in any climatic conditions. There are no problems with spare parts, minor breakdowns are eliminated by operators on their own.

In each subsequent model of the Kirovets tractor, the developers took into account and eliminated the shortcomings of their predecessors as much as possible.

So, K-744R is equipped with a special visual lubrication scheme for prompt maintenance, the oil filler neck is located in a convenient accessible place.

The service intervals for routine maintenance have been increased to 250 hours, the warranty period for all K-744R models has been increased to 2 years.

Kirovets tractors consume diesel fuel, lubricants, motor oils of a certain class, depending on the operating conditions.

Maintenance is preventive and every shift, the manufacturer recommends performing in accordance with the instructions for use of the machines.

Major malfunctions, repair

Despite the reliability of work, ease of maintenance, good maintainability, there are drawbacks in the Kirovets tractors.

Older models may tip over under severe operating conditions. Owners sometimes note poor build quality, oil leakage, incorrect operation of the transmission and hydraulics.

Many models do not meet the environmental requirements.

When assembling the Kirovets K-9000 tractors, a lot of imported components were used, which complicates and increases the cost of their repair.

Repairing tractors equipped with telemetry systems requires a highly professional approach.

Kirovets K-700

K-9000 in operation with a harrow

In St. Petersburg presented "Kiryusha" - a new tractor "Kirovets" K-708.4 low power
Petersburg Tractor Plant (a subsidiary of JSC Kirovsky Zavod), as part of the import substitution program, is developing a line of agricultural tractors of low power (180-240 hp). The firstborn in this row - the 240-strong Kirovets K-708.4 - is already ready for testing.

The new "Kirovets" of low power received the nickname "Kiryusha". It was demonstrated within the framework of the Import Substitution exhibition, where it was presented to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, as well as at a solemn event on the occasion of the release of the 1000th K-744R tractor of the 2015 model at PTZ.

Mini-"Kirovtsy" are created by order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation as an import-substituting product. The new K-708.4 is built on the basis of domestic components, including the power plant, hydraulics and even electronics. The transmission group of the prototype is a joint Russian-Belarusian one, however, as the press service of PTZ notes, a transmission of its own design should be developed for serial production.

It has been determined that the new series of tractors "Kirovets" will include machines of the 3rd and 4th traction classes with engines ranging from 180 to 240 hp. The market for such tractors in Russia today is about 3000 units per year, and the technological need, taking into account the need to update the outdated fleet, is several times greater.

For development work on this project, the Petersburg Tractor Plant was allocated 50 million Russian rubles. But to put the mini-"Kirovtsy" on the conveyor, it will take about 2 billion. Where the residents of St. Petersburg will get that kind of money is still unknown. Nevertheless, the new K-708.4 tractor will undergo a full cycle of tests and modifications to be ready for serial production.

In the face of the K-4 tractor developed by the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant, the usual "Kirovets" really got a younger brother - he is not only younger, but also noticeably smaller in weight and dimensions. Which is not surprising: the newcomer belongs to the middle class, which until recently was completely dominated by Kharkiv KhTZ. Now K-4, which is affectionately called "Kiryusha" at the plant, is supposed to squeeze the honored Kharkiv resident on the Russian market.

K-4 has a modern Yaroslavl 6-cylinder diesel engine YMZ-23625 of ecological class Stage 3A (with the prospect of Stage 3B) with a guaranteed resource of at least 10 thousand operating hours, an automatic transmission made by ZF, very comfortable and unusually spacious by the standards of domestic tractor equipment a double cab with air conditioning, five hydraulic lines for the rear linkage and one for the front linkage, as well as an overall width of 2.55 m, which allows you to move freely on public roads.

With a length of 7.15 m, the tractor has a turning radius on the outer wheel of 5.8 m and an operating weight of 9-12 tons, depending on the configuration. In the basic version, the engine develops 240 hp, but over time it is planned to offer customers a modification with the Yaroslavl 190-horsepower "four". The powerful hydraulic system is pneumatically or electrically controlled. Tires with a dimension of 23.1R26 provide a ground clearance (under the pivot axis) of 520 mm. Rear hitch of category III - IV with a drawbar and, on request, with a swingarm, front hitch - category III. Their carrying capacity on the suspension axis is 6.5 and 4.5 tons, respectively.

Bridges for the K-4 complete set are supplied by the Belarusian AMKODOR, but the plant workers promise to develop their own transmission in due course. And there is a certain reason for this: while the tractors are in trial operation, while minor flaws are caught in the design, their production is carried out in a slipway method. But in the near future, the car is going to be put on the conveyor, because according to the plant's marketers, the need for various modifications of the K-4 will be up to 3 thousand per year. In this case, there really is a reason to localize the most expensive transmission elements.

In August 2017, a significant event took place in the history of the St. Petersburg Kirov Tractor Plant and the entire domestic engineering industry - the launch of a new model of Kirovets tractors into serial production. The tractor "Kirovets K-424" has become the smallest in the production program of the enterprise. This model is intended for profitable work not so much in large as in medium-sized, as well as in small peasant farms. According to experts, the “mini-Kirovets” is able to show itself in the best way on fields ranging from 500 to 2000 hectares. It is assumed that the "K-424" will become the "pioneer" of the whole series "K-4", which will include compact tractors of the 3rd and 4th traction classes.

The specialists of the oldest Russian machine-building enterprise hope that this tractor, and in the future, the entire K-4 series, will be in demand on the market. It is indicated that "Kirovets K-424" will occupy a very promising niche in the agricultural machinery market, which in Soviet times was occupied by the incredibly successful and even irreplaceable Kharkov tractor "T-150".

In modern times, the Kharkov Tractor Plant was constantly "in a fever", as a result of which now, as they say, "rather dead than alive." And over the past many years, large and medium-sized farmers have been forced to purchase either several low-power tractors at once, or one tractor, which is too energy-saturated and expensive for them. There is a hope that "Kirovets K-424" will come to the court not only in peasant farms, but also in large landowners and agricultural holdings. there, where there are tasks of regular transportation of equipment to remote fields, or the fields are mostly small-contour.

By its design, "Kirovets K-424", nicknamed "Kiryusha", is a wheeled tractor with an articulated frame, traditional for the products of the Petersburg Tractor Plant. The articulated frame has long been known for providing the best weight distribution, traction, flotation and maneuverability, even in the most challenging road conditions. The welded frame of the "mini-Kirovtsa" "K-424" consists of two semi-frames: front and rear, which are interconnected by a hinge device.

"K-424" is much more compact than traditional "Kirovtsev", and is also equipped with a less powerful, but more economical diesel engine "YaMZ-53625" with a capacity of 240 horsepower. A new generation automatic transmission works in tandem with this motor. The tractor has relatively small overall dimensions, which enable it to move freely on roads of all levels without additional permits. If necessary, the possibility of doubling the wheels is provided.

This model is also notable for the fact that this new product is the only tractor of the fourth traction class, which is completely produced in Russia. In nine workshops of the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant, both metal casting and plastic casting are performed, as well as machining, welding, testing of components and assemblies ... the entire process chain up to the final assembly of equipment. The manufacturer provides a 1-year or 2000 motor-hours warranty for Kirovets K-424.

The hydraulics "K-424" are powerful, the hitch is pendulum, the hitch is adjustable in height. Due to the presence of a modern unified coupling device, "Kirovets K-424 is suitable for the following types of current agricultural work:

  • Presowing treatment and soil preparation;
  • Sowing operations;
  • Cultivation;
  • Processing of crops in the aisles;
  • Fertilization.

The premiere of the Kirovets K-424 tractor on the domestic agricultural machinery market took place a couple of years earlier than August 2017, in October 2015. Prior to its launch into serial production, the new Leningrad tractor underwent intensive field trials in seven agricultural regions of our country. Also, "Kirovets K-424" passed an annual test cycle at three machine test stations. Both on MIS and on farms, the tractor has proven itself exclusively from the positive side.

The modern economical and quiet diesel engine "YaMZ-53625" is one of the undoubted advantages of the new tractor. It is a liquid-cooled, turbocharged, charge-air-cooled, in-line six-cylinder engine with electronic injection (Common Rail fuel system) and is Stage IIIa emission compliant. The engine is certified for compliance with the requirements of the special technical regulation of the Customs Union 031/2012 "On the safety of agricultural and forestry tractors and trailers for them": UN Regulation No. 24-03, UN Regulation No. 96-02.

  • The working volume of the engine is 6.65 liters.
  • Rated power - 176.5 kW, or 240 horsepower.
  • Operational power - not less than 158 kW, or 215 horsepower.
  • The maximum torque is 900 Nm, or 92 kgfm, at 1300… 1600 rpm.
  • Specific consumption of diesel fuel, at rated power no more than 197 hp (145 kW) - 197 g / kWh, or 145 g / hp-h; and at operating power, not more than 168 hp. - 229 g / kWh, or 168 g / hp-h.
  • The capacity of the fuel tank (double) is 500 liters.

Kirovets K-424 is equipped with an all-wheel drive transmission and an automatic six-speed gearbox with a torque converter lockup. The drive axles have differential locks. The number of gears is: forward gear - six; back - three. Gear shifting to "K-424" is electrohydraulic, without breaking the power flow, both in automatic and manual modes. In operating mode, gear changes are from first to fourth, and in transport mode, from first to sixth gear.

In order to exclude engine overloads when the gearbox is operating in manual mode, the gearbox control system provides for automatic downshifting when the crankshaft speed drops to 1300 rpm Tractor speed: forward - slowest - 5.8 km / h; the largest working - 14 km / h. The highest transport speed with the full weight of a standard trailer is 40 km / h. The tractor power take-off shaft is independent, two-speed.

Both bridges are leading; the wheel formula of the Kirovets K-424 tractor is 4x4. The drive axles are equipped with differential locks. The main gear consists of a drive and driven bevel gears with a circular tooth and a self-locking differential. The differential with the driven gear assembly is mounted in the main gear housing on tapered bearings. The bridge includes unified planetary-type wheel reducers, which consist of a driving sun gear, a fixed epicyclic gear, a carrier and three satellites.

The rear axle is rigidly fixed to the tractor frame. The front axle is mounted on longitudinal semi-elliptical springs with telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers. The Kirovets K-424 is equipped with disc brakes with a pneumohydraulic drive.

The hydraulic system of the working equipment and steering control on the Kirovets K-424 tractor is combined with a single hydraulic tank. The hydraulic system of the tractor is provided by a tandem pumping station: a Bosch axial piston pump of 100 cubic centimeters plus a gear pump of 40 cubic centimeters for steering. The maximum capacity of the pumping station is 210 liters per minute.

Hydraulic distributor - five-section with electronic control, placed on a semi-frame. The flow rate through one section of the valve is 95 liters per minute, and through the double section - 185 liters per minute. There are four independent hydraulic lines, free drainage of the fluid.

Rear hitch with position-force control function is included in the basic configuration of the Kirovets K-424 tractor. The maximum lifting capacity of the rear linkage is 6,000 kilograms. The rear hitch of the III-rd category with power and positional regulation can be optionally equipped with a multi-lift, adjustable in height, with a trailed shackle; as well as a pendulum hitch.

The pendulum hitch has a maximum vertical load of 1,700 kilograms. Equipping the Kirovets K-424 tractor with a three-point front hitch with a carrying capacity of 4,500 kilograms is also provided as an additional option.

Powerful hydraulics of the tractor working equipment and the rear agricultural hitch of the third category of the tractor "Kirovets K-424" provide fast and reliable aggregation with 3-6 meter disc harrows, 15-21 meter medium tine harrows, seedbed cultivators, seeding complexes and other classic and modern agricultural implements ...

  • The turning radius is 6.2 meters.
  • Tire size - 23.1 R26.
  • Traction class, according to GOST-27021 - 4th. Rated pulling force - 40 kN (+0.3).

The specialists of JSC "Kirovsky Zavod" especially emphasize that the ergonomics of the cab of the tractor "Kirovets K-424", its vibration and noise insulation, the climate control system are designed taking into account not tractor, but automobile standards. Indeed, it is not difficult to make sure that the operator's workplace on the K-424 is quite comfortable, spacious and quiet.

The mini-Kirovets cabin is equipped with a built-in protective frame. It is all-metal, double, sealed, with panoramic glazing and heat-absorbing tinted glass. The cabin is equipped with modern heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. There is only one entrance door, it is provided on the left side of the tractor. The cab suspension of the Kirovets K-424 tractors is connected to a sprung front axle on rubber-metal shock absorbers AKSS.

The control of the coupling devices is simple and functional, it is carried out by means of a joystick; the steering is supplemented and strengthened by a hydraulic drive. The back of the driver's seat has the ability to change its configuration.

The St. Petersburg Tractor Plant, part of the Kirovsky Zavod group of companies, is one of the few domestic machine-building enterprises that successfully compete with foreign manufacturers. Even during the economic crisis, tractors of the famous Soviet brand "Kirovets" are in steady demand in Russia. And today they are exported to 30 countries of the world.

The former Kirovsky Zavod is an enterprise with the richest working traditions and a collectivist spirit, which has been preserved here despite the "reforms" of the liberals and the market whistle. The plant is often visited by the leader of the Russian communists Gennady Andreyevich Zyuganov, and during the recent presidential election campaign, Pavel Nikolayevich Grudinin, a candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the People's Patriotic Forces of Russia, spoke here, answering numerous questions. The people's candidate could not come to the city on the Neva and not visit the St. Petersburg Tractor People's candidate. Everyone was waiting for him here. Indeed, in terms of their outlook and attitude to life, the workers, engineers and management of the plant were and remain Soviet people, real patriots, as if there were no decades of the wild market and Gorbachev's collapse.

The journalists of the Krasnaya Liniya TV channel came to St. Petersburg Tractor because they learned that another novelty is coming off the factory assembly line - the Kirovets K-4 model, a medium-class tractor with a 240 horsepower engine, a little over seven meters long and an overall width only two and a half meters. Machines with precisely these characteristics are especially lacking for rural manufacturers in Russia today. More recently, middle-class models were purchased in Ukraine, where they are produced by the Kharkov Tractor Plant. But after the Kiev regime began to erect barrier after barrier between the fraternal countries, cooperation became impossible. Even with the purchase of the simplest spare parts, the peasants faced insurmountable problems. So a group of design engineers from the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant, headed by Alexei Gavrilov, took up the development of a domestic model of the Kirovets K-4 tractor at the right time. And the result exceeded all expectations.

Related materials

Today Gavrilov's group is closely cooperating with colleagues from Germany: they want to secure a contract for their company for the production of hydraulic units for new Kirovets models. But first, these nodes need to be designed - this is what German engineers are doing with the help of their Russian colleagues.

“Many foreigners turn to us themselves, because they are interested in cooperation with the plant,” says Alexey Gavrilov. - We are the only enterprise in Russia where the production of tractors is growing steadily, and everyone knows that.

However, three quarters of the components of modern "Kirovtsy" are of domestic production. Thanks to this, the machines are well adapted to Russian conditions, they work almost flawlessly. And they are much cheaper than capricious Western counterparts.

The chief designer of the plant, Mikhail Lebedev, stands at the computer, as if behind a drawing board. The habit has been preserved since the days when no one heard of any computers for designing new models of tractors.

But when previously unknown technologies became commonplace, the design of modern tractors went very quickly. The task to design "Kirovets K-4" - "Kiryusha", as this model was dubbed at the plant, was received by Lebedev's design bureau at the very end of 2016. And the matter started. January - February - the beginning of drawing, June - July - the issuance of drawings. Assembly started in October, and in November the first batch of machines built from scratch was already shipped to customers.

It is very difficult for an ignorant person to understand what it is like: to design and launch a completely new tractor in a series when banks do not give loans to producers, and the industry has been deliberately destroyed for many years, half of the suppliers went bankrupt and, most importantly, when the peasants simply do not have money to buy technology.

“We cannot talk about the development of agricultural machinery in isolation from the development of all agriculture in the country,” explains Sergei Serebryakov, director of the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant. - And apart from the general credit and financial system and the macroeconomic environment that has developed in Russia, it is simply stupid to talk about the problems of agricultural machinery.

Today, Sergei Serebryakov has no answers to most of the questions about the economic policy of the government and its attitude to the problems of the industry. On camera, he does not want to call the ministers of the financial and economic bloc pests. And he doesn't know how to call them differently. And nevertheless, against the background of questions to which there are no answers, the St. Petersburg plant over the past year delivered to the fields of Russia, near and far abroad more than 2,000 Kirovets tractors, as well as spare parts for them, totaling 12.7 billion rubles. This, says the director, is today one of the best indicators in the industry over the past 25 years.

Assembly shop. Future tractors "Kiryusha" are in line at the factory conveyor. Every day several cars leave ready-made for running-in. Nikolay Grigoriev, deputy head of the assembly department, shows the Krasnaya Liniya TV channel the capabilities of the new model:

- Here are the attachment control keys. Previously, there were difficulties when hooking up the units: they jumped from cab to cab or a second person was needed. Now one tractor driver can attach the equipment literally in a matter of seconds.

St. Petersburg frost grips to the bone, but Grigoriev does not pay attention to the bad weather. He enthusiastically explains how simple buttons and other little things make up a competitive tractor, in which everything is thought out for the convenience and efficient work of the operator.

Nikolai famously turns the tractor on the factory patch. He says that he is proud of the machines that the plant produces. And not just an abstract plant, but the people who work on it.

Grigoriev himself came to St. Petersburg Tractor not so long ago, in 2008. He started as a collector. Then he worked as a test driver, a year later he returned to the shop, became a foreman, a foreman. Now he is the deputy head of the shop. I am very grateful to the veterans of the plant, who pass on their experience to the youth. They, young people, are dear everywhere at the plant.

The team of Alexei Gavrilov, the head of the Kirovets K-4 project, consists mainly of young people. He himself is not yet forty. The speed with which these young guys are working is amazing. The design solution is found in a matter of hours.

“The plant has a well-established system of interaction between different departments,” the engineer explains. - There are no intermediaries. There is no need to wait for weeks for a response, for approval of changes. Everything happens very quickly here. I went to the shop, discussed it, agreed in the morning, in the evening - the result.

Alexey admits that he constantly thinks about his model, "Kirovets K-4". He even dreams of "Kiryusha". And how to design an element of the cooling system of one of the engines, I figured out when I was traveling in the subway.

“It was in the evening, I was returning from work,” he recalls. - In the morning I came to the guys, explained my idea, and we took up the drawings.

The creator of Kiryusha has no doubts that the St. Petersburg plant and tractors of the Soviet brand "Kirovets" have a great future.

“We are the only enterprise in Russia that makes cars of this class,” explains the designer. - The country will always need agricultural machinery. Everyone wants to eat. We will not be left without tractors. The plant will live and develop. I am very optimistic about this. We won't do that yet!
