Tires for UAZ: selection, description, characteristics. What discs and tires to choose for UAZ Bukhanka? Winter wheels for UAZ loaf Tire size for UAZ loaf standard

04.12.2021

Created on the basis of an off-road vehicle, a car with a minibus body UAZ-3962 (3309), in colloquial terms - UAZ loaf, has received the widest distribution. Despite the unprepossessing appearance and technically outdated design, due to its high cross-country ability and reliability, the machine is used as a workhorse and is currently being produced. Ambulance service, Emergency Situations Ministry teams in forestry and agriculture - all this applies to this vehicle.

Taking into account the difficult conditions, increased requirements are imposed in those conditions when tires are selected for a UAZ loaf. The conditions when the machine mainly works on urban asphalt roads differ significantly from the conditions of rural off-road. In addition, rural roads vary significantly with the seasons.

Wheel size for UAZ

The standard tires on the UAZ loaf are installed with the following size: 225/75 R16, and in some periods the car was equipped with 235/74 R15 tires. In any case, it must be borne in mind that the staging diameter of the disc must be within the range of 29-33 inches. This dimension does not lead to additional changes in the vehicle design. Additionally, the steel disc must meet the 5x139.7 mounting size requirements.

There are known cases when tires were used on a wheel size R17, but with the very tire of a low profile. However, due to the large selection of standard rubber of any model, this practice has not become widespread.

In the event of an overloaded vehicle or at maximum suspension travel, even when the tire is set to the normal dimension, the rubber touches the wheel arches. This situation is not critical and there is no serious destructive effect on rubber.

Taking into account the prevalence of the car and the most varied operating conditions, a wide variety of tires are provided for installation on a UAZ loaf. The market presents not only the categories of domestic, but also imported rubber for UAZ. There are 3 main categories:

But any owner must choose for further use exactly the model that suits the performance of specific tasks. Since it is hardly possible to have fun driving around on noisy mud tires, while at the same time with a significantly increased gas mileage.

Line of domestic tires

Among the domestic rubber options, the following brands are considered mass models.

Universal tires for UAZ:

  1. Bel-24 235/75 R15. The Belarusian analogue has good average characteristics in all respects, fully justifying the purpose of the tire as a universal one. High wear resistance is noted, and operating experience allows us to speak of a resource of 60 thousand km.
  2. "I-502" has a size of 225/85 R15. The lifting capacity is 950 kg, and the maximum speed is 150 km / h.
  3. "Ya560" allows a maximum speed of 180 km / h.
  4. "Ya-357A". This is a radial version of the above mentioned rubber, which is distinguished by better speed and is able to withstand a large permissible load up to 1060 kgf. This type of tire is somewhat softer and, with a similar pattern, tolerates movement on soggy mud much better. Good directional stability on the road can also be noted.
  5. "Ya245" and "Ya245-1" has a size of 215/90 R15. This tire brand has a low maximum speed of 110 km / h and a relatively low weight of 775 kgf.

Rubber for use on mud

Among the requirements that can be set when choosing rubber for use on bad roads are:

  • developed lugs;
  • weight not exceeding the permissible value for the car;
  • permissible width is not more than 250 mm;
  • affordable price;
  • tire sidewalls resistant to external influences.
  1. "I-502". It has a number of advantages: low noise level, good maneuverability on any roads and low rolling resistance under good road conditions. This model copes well with resistance to mechanical damage.
  2. "I-506". It has good resistance to longitudinal displacement and excellent directional stability. It has a low noise level, and additionally allows the screwing of studs for the winter period. The only gripe is some wheel stiffness.
  3. "I-520". Another worthy representative of rubber for UAZ. This tubeless model allows the car to hold the road with confidence and handle in a variety of conditions. Rubber noise does not exceed transmission sounds. This tire has good self-cleaning properties, which is important enough for an off-road tire. It is noteworthy that for this model it is easy to find snow chains.
  4. A relatively new model was the Y471 model. The tire provides a smooth ride, slightly swallowing minor irregularities. Good directional stability and low noise level are provided. Decently behaves not only on muddy roads, but also in the sand. Notes on this model include difficult balance.
  5. An excellent rubber for bad roads is the Y192 tire. This is one of the best mud tires available. However, the model is somewhat noisy on asphalt and does not differ in smooth running.
  6. "Ya409". This rubber for UAZ is suitable for use at any time of the year. The model copes well with mud, but also feels comfortable on snowy roads. Performance on clean ice is slightly worse, but the car can be handled while driving.
  7. The Y358 model is designed primarily for installation on the front driving axle. This bias tire is not very fast. But it does an excellent job on rough roads, with the exception of swampy areas, where it is capable of self-burying.

Import

Among foreign manufacturers, you can name a very large number of models that fit the UAZ loaf. Among the tires for standard operating conditions alone, there are more than 3 dozen models. All of them are located in the price range from 5 to 13 thousand rubles.

Among the most attractive purchase options in terms of price-quality-performance ratio is the Bridgestone 694 235/70 R16 model, which is optimal for roads with good coverage. But the off-road performance of this tire is low. The cost of this model is within 7.7 thousand rubles.

The range of mud tires is available in 30 different models. All of them fit into the price range of up to 9 thousand rubles. One of the worthy representatives of such models in the Standard class is the Dunlop MT2 225/75 R16. This model will cope with most of the bad roads and only in sticky clay can it fail. Possesses good self-cleaning ability. Can also be used on asphalt without any problems. Of course, the acoustic comfort will not be the best. The price of one wheel will not exceed 8 thousand rubles.

Norm for an all-terrain vehicle

One of the most requested tires is the Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT 225 / 75R16E. This model combines not the highest cost (about 9.7 thousand rubles) with understandable behavior on rolled snow and ice.

Pressure indicators

Compliance with the level of air pressure in the tires affects, as is known, not only the wear of the wheel tread, but also the performance of the machine as a whole. An important note is that the tire pressure parameter is monitored on cold tires. After an insignificant mileage, the controlled parameter may differ by 2-3 tenths from the norm.

The recommended tire pressure for off-road tires on the front wheels is set within 1.7 atmospheres for rubber with an index (Yaroslavl) and 1.9 for other manufacturers. For rear tires, tire pressure is set in the same way - 2.2 for Yaroslavl tires and 2.4 - 2.5 for other manufacturers.

Motorists who choose UAZ vehicles, first of all, value their cross-country ability and reliability. All UAZ models, shall we say, are spacious, but sometimes this is not enough. For such cases, the UAZ Loaf model with increased capacity is provided.

In addition to the fact that the car includes an increased volume of cargo, it can accommodate more than five people. Accordingly, tires for UAZ Bukhanka need powerful tires that can withstand the expected load.

In addition to the UAZ-452, the Loaf includes the following models:

Alternative names - Tablet, Baton.

Tire pressure and dimension

To maximize the potential of this SUV, you will need to select tires of optimal parameters and maintain a certain pressure in them.

Regarding the pressure, it is worth noting that it should not exceed 2.5 atmospheres. At the same time, in the front wheels it is recommended that the indicator be slightly less than in the rear.

So, let's consider the optimal mud tires for the UAZ Loaf.

Cordiant Off Road

These Russian tires are the most budgetary option, but because of this, their quality still does not suffer. For small off-road conditions, these tires are quite suitable. Their wide tread grooves keep dirt out.

However, due to the fact that the blocks are made of hard rubber, on strong off-road conditions, the car equipped with the Cordiant Off Road feels insecure. They are best suited for summer season and country road use. In winter, the rubber becomes overly hard.

Contyre Expedition

This model has the same tread pattern as the previous one. Therefore, self-cleaning from dirt is also good.

However, the Contair Expedition tires, also produced in Russia, are better because they are made of softer rubber. Thanks to this, it became possible to conquer off-road more seriously. But on the pavement, they are also noisy and poorly controlled.

Cooper Discover STT

These tires from the American company Cooper significantly outperform previous models. However, their main disadvantage is their high cost. UAZ Bukhanka is a budget car, and not every owner is ready to put such expensive tires on it.

The rest of the tires are excellent. The central rib provides good handling, the side blocks are reinforced, so when hitting an unevenness, the tires do not deform. The passability of a car with Cooper Discovery CTT increases markedly.

BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T / A KM2

This American model is still a novelty, so it has few competitors. It is recommended to install such tires if the UAZ is supposed to move around mountainous terrain, stones and serpentines.

Also BF Goodrich Mad Terrane are also suitable for off-road driving, since the grooves form whole channels that are well cleared of dirt.

Of the shortcomings of this model, it is worth noting that when installing on a Loaf, you will need to cut out the wheel arches, albeit a little. Their cost is not the lowest, but tires are worth their money.

Omskshina Ya-192

Consider an option from Russian manufacturers. These tires belong to the budget, therefore they are often found on UAZ Bukhanka cars. They seem to be specially prepared for these machines, since they are installed simply and do not require alterations.

Thanks to the tread, the cross-country ability is excellent, on the mud they feel "at ease". If you need very inexpensive tires with good flotation, then this is ideal.

The body of the UAZ Loaf is more like a minivan, not an SUV, but nevertheless, thanks to its high ground clearance and reliable suspension elements, this car becomes a loyal companion when overcoming off-road conditions. To prevent the car from getting stuck, it is recommended to select high-quality tires for it that are unable to fail at a crucial moment.

If a Bosch fuel system is installed on the car, then it is better to order high-quality diagnostics and repair of Bosch injectors from professionals who are able to identify even the smallest deviation from the norm.

Wheels for UAZ, or which wheels are suitable for UAZ?

Wheels for UAZ loaf

At the beginning of the article, discs for UAZ, I would like to make a small digression and congratulate the owners of this brand on the 70th anniversary of the plant. The jubilee UAZ Patriot released by the plant will delight their owners with special inserts with the number 70 on the car body and steering wheel, alloy wheels for UAZ and much more.

The beginning of the next weather season, and this is spring and autumn, begins the same for all motorists - the choice of car wheels. UAZ disks do not have any special differences in their design from others, everything is the same as in all cars. Let's recall what the main parameters are for the discs on the UAZ.

The parameters for mounting (drilling) discs on the UAZ have a size of 5 * 139.7 - this literally stands for 5 holes located on a diameter of 139.7 mm. and the diameter of the central hole (CO) or DIA - 108. Further, the discs have the recommended size and, so to speak, for replacement.

For those who will select tires when tuning UAZ disks, one important note - as a rule, the more the offset tends to the negative side, the wider the width and wider the tire should be!

Wheels for UAZ

UAZ 469 and modifications (3150, 3151, 3152, 31512, 39121, 31514, 31519, 315195, 31520, 3153, 3159) recommended wheel sizes:

For Sport. Using a car to overcome serious obstacles and participate in off-road competitions with a significant alteration of suspension assemblies, bodywork and transmission, disks are taken with a radius of at least 15 inches and an offset from 0 to -44 (minus 44), tires from 33 to 35 mm.

Almost all disks with the parameters considered in the article are present in the catalog of the online store. These are forged wheels by KraMZ and VSMPO, alloy wheels made in Bryansk at Megalum, and Krasnoyarsk at KiK, as well as stamped or steel wheels with a standard size of 5 * 139.7 and suitable overhangs. Use the search form for disks by parameters, please. You will find your wheels for UAZ, wheels for UAZ!

The choice of discs and tires for the UAZ 469 is the most important factor affecting ride comfort and safety. In general, disks for such SUVs do not differ in any design features and are similar to other brands of domestic cars. Consider the main parameters of UAZ 469, 31512, 31514, 31519, 3153, Bars, Hunter rims.

The standard values for mounting discs are as follows:

Reaming 5 * 139.7, where 5 is the number of holes on a diameter of 139.7 mm.

DIA must be no less than standard (108 mm), otherwise the wheel will not fit on the hub.

When choosing tires and wheels for tuning UAZ 469, it is important to consider the following:

The width of the tire must be matched to the width of the rim, as a rule, this information is indicated by the tire manufacturer on the tire itself, accompanied by the inscription: "recommend size for disc 15/8".

The offset of the disc is selected in such a way that the wheel during the articulation of the suspension, as well as the extreme positions of the steering wheel, does not come into contact with the body elements and the transmission of the car.

Let's consider in more detail the standard sizes of wheels for the UAZ Hunter, 469.

1. Standard wheels:

215/90 R15; 225/70 R16

If there are no global alterations planned on the car, but you just want to move away from regular discs to more reliable ones, then the ODS disc line has the following sizes:

Wheels fit to them:

235/75 R15; 245/70 R16; 30 / 9.5 R15

2. To increase the wheels up to 31-32 inches, it is necessary to install a minimum suspension or body lift, change the offset of the off-road disk for UAZ Hunter towards negative:

31x10.5 R15; 245/75 R16; 255/70 R15; 255/70 R16

The angle of inclination of the UAZ Hunter pivots is designed only for a standard overhang, the use of a negative overhang will lead to rapid wear of the pivots. However, uazovody often use the old-style kingpin on the bushings or the kingpin and liners of the Altai company Vaxoil, which allow them to cope with the indicated loads.

3. The next step is to install a body lift of 2 "and higher, switch to 33" wheels.

Off-road wheels for UAZ Hunter:

265/75 R16; 33 / 10.5 R15; 285/75 R16; 33 / 12.5 R15

At this stage, many owners of Hunter stop, the car copes with the tasks of hunting, fishing and expeditions - where not only a single puzater will not reach, but also the owner of the same pepelats, only not prepared.

4. Further tuning - building 469 for specific off-road tasks. To install 35 rubber, it is necessary to carry out a number of works, in particular: body lift from 5 cm, suspension lift, usually 6 cm front suspension, 6-8 cm rear suspension. For such customers, there are many types and sizes of rubber, we will focus only on off road wheels on UAZ.

The UAZ car has established itself as a reliable, highly passable and budget option. All UAZ models are quite spacious, but the manufacturers considered that this was not enough and designed a model with an increased capacity - the UAZ-452 "Loaf".

ATTENTION! Found a completely simple way to reduce fuel consumption! Don't believe me? An auto mechanic with 15 years of experience also did not believe until he tried it. And now he saves 35,000 rubles a year on gasoline!

In addition to the load, it can accommodate 5 people. To withstand the anticipated load, this vehicle is fitted with powerful and reliable tires. Despite the fact that the car is of domestic production, rubber for it is most often purchased imported.

It should be noted right away that the UAZ-452 is equipped by the manufacturer with 15 or 16-inch wheels. The plant recommends to install tires of the following sizes on the "Loaf": 225/75 / R16 or 235/74 / R15.

Since the car itself is very popular and is used for different tasks and in different conditions, the choice of tires for it is huge. The modern market offers a wide selection of not only domestic products, but also imported rubber for UAZ-452.

What non-standard dimensions can be set

Due to the variety of tire choices in the automotive markets and the popularity of standard tires for the UAZ Bukhanka, the need to install large wheels, for example, 17 or 18 radius, does not arise.

Moreover, without changing the height of the suspension, this type cannot be installed. Therefore, as a rule, the tire size recommended by the manufacturer is used.

I must say that some craftsmen still replace wheels of 15 or 16 radius with a larger size. However, this cannot be done without modernizing the wheel arches, since otherwise, at the slightest unevenness of the road surface, the wheels will touch the body.

To unleash the full potential of this vehicle, you should select the correct tire sizes and maintain the tire manufacturer's recommended pressure.

The tire pressure on the UAZ-452 should be no more than 2.5 atm. For the front wheels, the pressure reading should be slightly lower than for the rear.

The table shows the pressure values for the front and rear wheels.

The best winter tires for UAZ "Bukhanka"

Winter tires are studded and non-studded (Velcro). When choosing this or that model, some factors should be taken into account: the area of use, the presence of bad or good roads on which to move. Competent choice will allow you to balance the car, regulate handling at a particular speed.

  • Cordiant Winter Drive - price category R16 4000-4200 rubles. This studded rubber of European production is an economical and quite worthy option for this car.

  • Matador MP30 Sibir Ice 2 - winter tires for UAZ "Bukhanka" are provided by the Matador brand. These tires have a reinforced carcass and sidewalls, as well as increased tread blocks, which allows them to effectively keep the road on a snowy road.
Differs in better flotation and control due to aluminum carbide tips. Perfectly holds the car on sharp turns during icy conditions. Price - 6 500 rubles.
  • Omskshina Ya-192 - tires are classics of a domestic manufacturer. This option is more suitable for driving in the autumn or spring period, although it is positioned as winter.
For a not frosty, but snowy period, an excellent option, due to the aggressive tread of the tires during braking, the risk of skidding and the braking distance is reduced to a minimum. The price of a tire ranges from 3000 to 3500 rubles.

  • Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic - the price is 9,000 rubles. Studded rubber, great for colder and snowy regions.

  • Michelin X-Ice 3 - the cost starts at 3700 rubles. This rubber is studless, but this does not affect the handling and stability on any road surface, regardless of the degree of moisture in the asphalt. The rubber itself is very light, as it consists of a mixture of rubber, due to which fuel consumption is reduced when traveling.

The best summer (mud) tires for UAZ "Bukhanka"

In most cases, for the UAZ-452, owners prefer the choice not of summer tires, but of mud or all-season tires, for moving not only along a simple track, but also through mud and sand.

  • The BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T / A KM3 is by far one of the best tires for driving on mud. The price is quite high, but the quality matches that. For 2019, the cost is 13,000 rubles. Quite a rare feature for this type of tire is its low noise level. Demonstrates excellent handling when driving at higher speeds. The wheels are also characterized by increased wear resistance, which justifies the high cost.
  • Michelin Latitude Cross - this type of tire stuck between premium and mid-priced. Rubber 225/75 R16 108N8500 costs about 7800 rubles on average. The tires are not fast tires, but for this particular car this is a minor point.
Stable on any type of road surface, regardless of weather conditions. The tread pattern assumes a long service life, while the performance parameters are not affected in any way.
  • Nokian Rockproof - the average price is 8000-8200 rubles. Tough, durable, the tread is designed for travel in places where there are no roads. The tread is adapted for movement on water. Special stone repellents are built into the tires.

  • Kumho Road Venture - imported tires at an affordable price. The average cost is 5500-6000 rubles. Very soft ride, excellent handling at high speed. The tires allow you to pass even the most difficult grooves stably and without obstruction.

  • Bridgestone Dueler is a fairly economical model for the leader in this industry, the price starts from 7,000 rubles. This rubber has no advantages and increased advantages, but there are no complaints about it either. This model was created using the latest technology, taking into account all the required operational parameters.

To summarize, it should be said that the UAZ-452 "Loaf" is an excellent option for those who like hunting and fishing, a great companion when traveling on roadless places. The car can be successfully upgraded externally and technically.

The body is somewhat reminiscent of a "minivan", and not an off-road vehicle, but this does not prevent it from overcoming difficult road obstacles. This car is durable, because it is not for nothing that the equipment and appearance have practically not changed since the beginning of its production.

Rubber on the UAZ is a very dreary and extensive topic, which I have not yet touched upon. Today we will try to understand this difficult issue. There are a couple of good articles about rubber, including on the site http://www.uazbuka.ru. I decided to compose the material from there and present it in a more convenient form. So…

“These guys need to get to more important places than you. Take care of the rubber. Check your tires IMMEDIATELY. "

The first article tells about "foreign" tires on the UAZ 🙂

"Foreign" tires for UAZ

Only tires of the Mud Terrain class are capable of instilling unlimited confidence in the owner of an SUV.
These tires are designed from the ground up to tackle the most difficult off-road terrain, although they can be used on normal roads. Efficiency when driving on a wide variety of terrains, sufficient traction to overcome mud and fords, "puncture resistance", durability and movement at any inflation pressure - for this all Mud Terrain tires are loved by avid hunters and anglers, as well as off-road enthusiasts.

Rubber BFGoodrich Radial Mud Terrain T / A.

Radial tubeless tire with triple protective polymer cord. It has a developed and balanced set of off-road qualities and for many jeepers serves as a kind of benchmark for comparison. Mud Terrain T / A is hardy (mileage in normal road conditions can reach 40-50 thousand km) and is produced in a wide range (nine sizes for 15 "discs, 6 sizes for 16, two for 16.5).
Cooper Discoverer STT. An off-road tire of a famous and popular brand in America. In terms of some off-road qualities, it is inferior to the previous one, but more versatile. It loses a little in strength and endurance, but it is cheaper (though, if we take into account, again, prices in the USA). It is also produced in a very wide range (10 sizes for 15 "rims, 13 x 16, 3 x 16.5, there are even sizes for 17 and 14" rims).

General Tire Grabber MT rubber.

This tire is manufactured by the Continental group of companies. It has proven itself well on sandy roads (the optimal ratio of the square of "checkers" to the depth of the grooves), copes well with mud (self-cleaning tread) and is not afraid of stony roads (new super-strong rubber compound). It's noisy on the asphalt. So far, it is produced only in the six most popular "jeep" sizes.
Goodyear Wrangler MT / R. As soon as it appeared, this novelty was immediately called by experts "a new word in dirty business." It has enormous grip on the mud, works great at lowered, comfortable on normal road. Goodyear has implemented the very best technological advances in MT / R (silicone rubber compound, polymer three-layer sidewall, enhanced puncture protection, special cord construction that forms an impressive "paw" of contact patch) and therefore ranked it, no less, in the category things State-of-the-Art (well, it's kind of like "the best and not necessary").

Mickey Thompson Baja CLAW Radial rubber.

Another novelty. Aggressive appearance provokes the same off-road style. Powerful oblique mud-evacuation ditches in the tread allow attacking deep mud literally from the raid without the risk of "surfacing" and loss of inertia, while the elastic rubber compound and strong cord provide the tire with passability over stones and cobblestones. The tire is not cheap and is available in only 4 sizes so far.

Tires for UAZ Pirelli Scorpion MUD.

Even such a "peaceful"-looking tire like this one contains all the great sporting and technological experience that Pirelli has gained in international rally-raids. Scorpion MUD behaves well on soft soils, copes well with slippery roads, and goes on ordinary concrete or asphalt with comfort and without unnecessary noise, maintaining good directional stability even at a high speed for an SUV (130-140 km / h).

Rubber for UAZ YaI-357A

YaI-357 is a radial version of the UAZ non-military rubber Ya-245. Accordingly, it should behave the same off-road, but slightly better at highway speeds.

I bought a UAZ with this rubber, I left for over a year. I think this is a good radial model, good in winter and summer. I don't want to switch to another model of rubber, and then I will only buy it.

YaI-357 (215-90R15) from Yaroslavl - similar in design to the diagonal, but much softer. The car confidently goes through the mud, has, in my opinion, good directional stability. For sand and loose soil, the tire, perhaps, is not very suitable. Since we have more mud than sand, I recommend this rubber to those who live in the village or often travel to the country.

Mud tires for UAZ Ya-358

Tire size 11.2-16; Purpose: front driving axle MTZ-82N; Load index 1050; Speed index A6 (30); Diagonal diagonal construction; Outer diameter, mm 895; Profile width, mm 290; Weight, kg 44

Tractor rubber. They are driven by mini tractors 16-7.5, it is like 31 ″ exists and 16-9.5 that is. 35 ″, but once again - this is a terrible shortage of the most massive tractors - Chinese, their rubber g ..., solid soot, die at a time

From the stories on it - it's just super in the mud (there is no super), but it cuts through the swamp and begins to dig in at a breakneck speed.

Manufactured by Volzhsky Shinny Zavod (VlShZ), Voltyr OJSC, Volgograd Region, Volzhsky.
Low-profile, diagonal tire F-201 (10.0 / 75-15.3) is designed for the universal small-sized machine MKSM-800, which performs lifting and transport operations in quarries and mines. The low profile and cross-country pattern of non-directional type provide high cross-country ability both when moving forward and backward in off-road conditions, on snowy roads and on deformable surfaces, high directional stability and tire grip. Maximum tire load (depending on ply) from 1120 to 1695 kgf, weight - 30 kg, maximum speed - 30 km / h.

About the F-201 tire, a short history:
For a long time I rode on I-409 tires and had a clear example of the operation of I-192. Driving through swampy areas showed that both tires were narrow and heavy. UAZ crashes. After traveling along the clay and snow tracks behind the elevated Land Rovers, Land Cruisers and Jeeps, it turned out that a standard UAZ with military bridges on standard wheels drives no worse. Therefore, I decided to find tires that are wide and with a standard outer diameter.
The "goodrich" option disappears for a number of reasons:
-expensive
-relatively weak sidewalls (fairly frequent punctures)
-large diameter in relation to the width of the tire (not suitable for my driving style)

The "tractor tree" variant of the Yaroslavl or Belorussian plant is omitted for the following reasons:
-weighs a lot
-too large diameter (overloading of units, poor dynamics of acceleration and deceleration)

From the operation of the UAZ in difficult conditions, the following requirements were determined which the tire must meet:
-reasonable price
-have developed lugs (such as Ya-192)
- have a standard dia. with a large width (from 250mm.)
- the weight should be no more than that of the standard
- strong sides

Searches led to the following models TVL-3, VL-30, F-201. The following dimensions: 10/75 / 15.3 and 11.5 / 80 / 15.3 Protector: "Christmas tree", analogue of I-192
The choice fell on the F-201, an analogue of the I-192, size. 10/75 / 15.3.
I liked the tire because it has an outer diameter. 780 mm. at a width of 10 inches (almost 250 mm.). The weight is not much more than the standard (own feelings tested during tire fitting). The middle part of the tread is similar to the I-192, and the lateral part is like a "tree".
Fears caused the landing diameter. 15.3 (UAZovsikie at 15).

The following ideas for installing such tires appeared:
-Submit the cut camera, like on trucks.
- when expanding the discs (according to the 2-by-1 principle), install the hoops.
-Supply discs from the appropriate technique with re-drilling the holes for the bolts and the hub. (8-9 inch discs are needed)
- put on standard disks (for checking)

I followed the simple path "installation on uaz disks". Two people had to do tire fitting, because of the large width of the tire with fairly rigid sides and a narrow disc. During tire fitting, the impression was that our constructors were saving on matrices under 15.3, and they simply put a stamp on the sidewall. I pumped the tire up to 2 atm. Due to the narrow disc, the protector is located in an arc (when viewed from the "end"). I put all wheels on a UAZ with military bridges and wheel arches. We look. The rear wheels do not touch anywhere, the front ones too. We make labels. Go. You can drive on asphalt up to 80 km / h, but for a short time (lack of balancing and narrow discs). After running along the road 120 km long at an average speed of 60 km / h. the tire is hot enough (causes concern) The tires are quite tough and all the flaws of the asphalt road make themselves felt on the steering wheel. After intensive acceleration and deceleration, we look at the marks - everything is in place. We bleed the pressure up to 1.2 atm. The car began to drive much softer. Continue onto a country road. The vibration from the wheels has disappeared, you can go fast enough. On clay, the tire runs perfectly, does not get washed out, it became possible to quickly accelerate and brake. This allows me to move in a style close to the rally. We climb along a deep rut. The car strikes with bridges and razdatka, but drives. Trying to get out of the rut with all-wheel drive. Steering wheel to the left, iiiiii! The car rose slightly, but continued straight ahead. Now into the swing. The third time I stopped by. I try the option of getting out of the rut without the front axle. The attempt was successful the first time. Further four-wheel drive and in front. We are looking for a place to get stuck. Aha !!! Ready. Trying to swing. Super!!! After I-409, it feels like the car has "grown claws." The machine lends itself well to swinging, while the swinging process is clearly controlled. On the sand, everything is "way". The digging process is always under control. Unfortunately, we did not manage to ride through the swampy terrain. We look at the marks - they are again in place. The next step is to rework the disks. I suppose, thereby, get rid of wheel runout and increase the contact patch.

Rubber I-502

I installed the Nizhnekamsk I-502. Of the FOUR wheels, TWO were balanced (imbalance of 500 kopecks). I put it on alloy wheels with a star shape and an offset of ET = 0 (wheels from Kamensk-Uralsky "Vicom", a five-pointed star). As a result, I got the following. The mass of native rubber with a disc is 33 kg, now it is 25 kg, the wheel is lighter by 8 kg. Only 8 kg x 4 = 32 kg. The creaking of the front pads is a thing of the past, apparently due to the fact that the cooling has improved. Dynamics began to appear during acceleration and movement (the wheels are lighter). Due to the smaller outreach, the track has increased, i.e. cornering stability (not tilting so much), as well as handling (no need to steer). You practically never get tired on long trips. There is practically no goat and it has become softer ... I advise, I like it.

They hold the road firmly, do not fall into the skid, like "relatives". In the last snow and ice on the country road they behaved normally. Dragged more than 50 km of UAZ with a jammed engine, dragged him, darling, even on a completely icy hill. On the road, it is soft and not noisy. I keep the pressure 2.5 - 3.

In my opinion, 502 is what you need. The diameter is sufficient, soft (with such a suspension it is important), the pattern is sufficient for mud, and at the same time it is good on the track.

It works fine everywhere, except for wet clay - it licks at the moment, self-cleaning of the tread - 0.

Rubber I-502, although it did not give reason to doubt the passability of the UAZ, but the directional stability on clay - well, none.

502 behaves just fine on a winter road, although it doesn't really like virgin snow. [Cuirassier]

I searched for the official needs of the 2nd set, the conclusions:
1. Weak sidewalls - cut to tear at a stroke.
2. It is lathered both on clay and on simply damp arable land (fertile land, but not black soil).
3. Diameter for ed. small bridges.
4. The ground clearance drops even in comparison with the standard.
5. In winter, there are no special advantages. [Elk postal]

I-502 (225-85R15) - developed by NIISHP, produced at Nizhnekamskshina - slightly wider than YaI-357, and the car runs even smoother on it. In the mud, this tire does not work well - it immediately clogs up and does not self-clean, like the YaI-357. Directional stability with her is also worse, but if you get into a skid, she pulls the car when gas is supplied much more willingly. And on a hard damp surface "502" behaves better than "357". I think that the I-502 will suit those who travel all year round, but it is probably not worth arranging a Camel Trophy on it.

I put it on 3160 almost immediately after buying it. The difference between the standard and the 520 is striking. The car practically stopped prowling, became softer, more dynamic (although the latter is most likely due to the more responsive alloy wheels). The truth with balancing is a problem. The imbalance of some wheels reached 300 gr. The tires have already passed about 24 thousand km. On the asphalt, incl. and on the wet, on the sand behaves with dignity. There are no cameras. He holds the pressure perfectly - for the entire time he corrected it once no more than 0.2. In short, the impressions are good. [Siberian]

520 (Pilgrim) has a size of 235-75 R15, in reality - 29 inches. The car on it goes "like clockwork", more precisely - "like on rails" - excellent handling and no yaw. And on completely regular rusty discs. The car runs very smoothly. Weights - 2-3 pcs. on the wheel. Pressure (tubeless): not dropped at all in 9 months! About off-road qualities: me and Andrey (The Beast) were in Tver on the "Off-road expedition" in the second (medium in complexity) group. But I still had to go along the most difficult route. Andrey has portal bridges, and mine - collective farm bridges and without blockages. But I only got stuck sitting on both of these collective farm bridges. So I will only change this gum for a trophy 33 inch. [Radomirich]

No action on the part of the I-520 tire itself was noticed towards self-cleaning in the mud :). But at the same time it goes! Three times, on the mud, they knocked the ponzhayk into neutral, and in the most ambush places. But he cut it in - and went! - Where Vitaly went on I-192, there I went on I-520). I will repeat once again - on the I-520 I got stuck only thoroughly sitting on both bridges. But not once because of the slippage of tires clogged with mud. Once again, the diameter of the tire is 29 inches, for the Ya-471 it is 30.4. That is, the ground clearance will be one and a half centimeters more. It's a lot or a little - it's up to you to decide.
By the way, the chains on the I-520 are easier to find. On the I-471, they may have to be modified.
About city driving. No noise (they actually exist, of course, but the transmission and other hardware blocks them), no vibrations. The handling is excellent. The last 200 km from Tver to St. Petersburg were driven with Misha and Shurik at least 110 km / h. I really wanted to go home :). In this case, the tires behaved very well.

Dry residue. After all, the I-520 is a city bus, on which you can safely get out into nature. I-471 is a universal tire (but not for raids, of course). Very normal. But it seems to me that it makes sense to put it also on good 8-inch wheels with no more than zero offset. Then you will be able to feel all its charm and will not touch the suspension. [Radomirich]

Soft, quiet, very stable rubber. The diameter is actually an inch less than that of the 502 and standard ones. But this is such nonsense compared to the comfort and road safety that these tires provide.
About off-road. Of course, she's not for him. But on a couple of rides (one of them Lesnoe-2000), the tires showed the following:

  • on soft ground, where the I-192 falls through in one and a half pass, the I-520 can be driven back and forth 20 times (pulled stuck nivovods).
  • compared to other road tires for UAZs of this class and size, incl. and standard 245 and 357, I-520 is the best off-road for cross-country ability.
  • compared to 502 - he sat down only where he sat on collective farm bridges. And THE BEAST with Andrey and Ira was on military bridges and at 502. I didn't sit on bridges too much, that's why I didn't get too stuck.

The disks are a bit wide. For I-520, 7 ″ disks are better. But the car, on the other hand, will be 8 ″ more stable on the highway and overturning. [Radomirich]

Well, yes, small diameter and weak sidewalls. He sat down with bridges in a rut, along which the UAZ had previously driven on standard tires. He broke the sidewall after hitting the curb tangentially. On the asphalt - great, on the regular one it threw in a random direction when braking, after replacing it with a pilgrim, everything returned to normal. It goes well in the snow, compared to the standard one, the same snowdrift pushes less. In general, I liked it in the mud, the tread is even better than the 471, it gets washed out less. True, I compared when 471 was on the trooper, maybe it wasn't about the rubber 🙂

Tires for UAZ I-506

In the longitudinal direction, it clings super, brakes and rowes perfectly on any snow. Cleans up well - tasted in the mud during the thaw. The cons are:
- in the transverse direction it holds rather weakly - somehow I could not get out of the side of the road. The slope was 20 degrees and there was a lot of snow;
- a bit harsh. Not fatal;
- it is small, only about 29 inches.

By the way, I have already experienced it in the mud. Feelings are very good - the drawing is large, with a good distance between the blocks. It cleans very well, only on dry soil small drainage grooves are clogged, but this is not scary. In the mud 30 cm deep, which the UAZs on the YaI-357 drove around, drove without any problems and still pulled a chisel behind them.
It also holds well on dry, loose soil - it is pleasant to climb ravines. There are problems on deep dry sand - it was felt that the car was slipping - apparently too narrow and toothy for sand, so for sand it is better to take I-471, probably.

I-471 (31x10.5 inches) appeared recently. This tubeless tire from Yaroslavl, perhaps, has absorbed the advantages of the two previous models (YaI-357 and I-502): the car runs very smoothly on it, the asphalt joints are simply swallowed. Directional stability is better than on other tires, and thanks to the "evil" pattern, cross-country ability will satisfy many. And what a combat look the UAZ acquires! Frankly speaking, I doubted for a long time whether to install these tires. It seems to be clear from textbooks that a wide tire should be inferior to a narrow one in terms of cross-country ability. But, having traveled on the Ya-471, I can confidently say that it surpasses the two previous ones. True, it needs wheels wider than the standard ones for tubeless tires.

Frequently asked questions about I-471:
1. Whether to put on native disks? - YES!
2. Should I be put on camera? - YES!
3. Is the option possible with both? (on standard disks with a camera)
- On standard disks with a camera only. On domestic forged for UAZ, it is possible without a camera. [OlegM]
4. Does the car need to be lifted? - On a leaf spring suspension it is possible not to lift
I have an unloaded car, with civilian bridges, about 3 centimeters to the wheel arches.

Impressions of Ya 471 at speed:
Yesterday, returning from the hacienda, I drove a little with a sneaker to the floor with a sneaker and was pleasantly surprised by the behavior of the car. On "native" YI 357 at speeds above 110-120, the car began to "fidget". And now - that 130, that 80 - the behavior is the same - rides and rides. Moreover, since except for rubber did not change anything - this is clearly her merit. [Chief]

In the summer on the asphalt, I think the 471 is ideal for a UAZ, but in the winter there is simply none.

A few nuances about the I-471:
1. Balanced with difficulty. I have forged wheels, so the weights take up about a sixth of the length of the wheel rim
2. Despite the fact that many people put on disks of the standard width, that is, 6 inches, and they seem to drive without problems, this is not correct, since the disk nirina should be 70-75 percent of the width of the rubber. That is, for I-471 AT LEAST 7 inches. I have eight inches. Departure - zero.
3. My car is almost new. At first, the rubber did not cling to the outer part of the arches, but, apparently, the springs sagged and began to touch a little. It is necessary either to bend the arches a little inward, or rather, to lift their inner flanges, or lift them a little. If there are wheel arch liners - then only. You can also just cut the wings a little, but this is not for everybody. Or a professional 🙂
4. I-471 behaves amazingly on asphalt, sand, not very washed out primer. It's hard to bury yourself in it. [Jedi]

Of course, it doesn’t listen to gravel, but I don’t remember much enthusiasm from the I-357 either ... Basically, on a wet clay track, I even rode it up a hill (of course, with a front end) and even started uphill. Although, probably in critical modes on a tractor track after an avalanche it can fail. It's just that in my practice, critical modes are more common on the track (for example, rain or bitumen) and on slopes, where an extra centimeter of track will not hurt. In short, this rubber is not for trial, but for the normal life of the layman.

I ride the Ya-471 all year round. Regular disks. It's great in the summer, I didn't look for much dirt, but in the fall I hit it once. When not very lumpy rides normally. BUT I didn't storm big mud.
Winter is bad, especially on ice. Snow is lightly packed normally. I rode a lot on the crossroads, if it is firm under the wheels, then it rides great. There is an observation that you have to steer a little more intensively, this is on standard disks. Or maybe it's a glitch. In my opinion, the wheel does not need to be pumped more than 2 points. In principle, I'm happy with the rubber. I am thinking of redoing the standard wheels by 8 inches. [Running Turtle]

I-471 lowered to 0.5 rt in the snow as you like, and in which case it allows you to back up. It has been tested in practice many times. With more pressure, it rides lousy

Tires for UAZ Ya-569

ZAO TsARM (St. Petersburg) has tested new Y-569 tires, which have proven themselves positively and have a pattern for off-road vehicles. UAZ on such tires won the 1st place ("Turboded") in the rally-raid "Polygon-2000". [TsARM]

The rubber is good, the tread is evil, it cleans normally, one big minus is only about 30 inches, it is rather low. Width 235 for her, dear. On the road with it the car is better than with the standard one. So for an amateur, in general. And on the highway I-471 is definitely better, 569 is noisy and the gasoline eats well.

"Taganka"

There was such a thing. Nothing particularly good: 1. small diameter; 2. the protector is only for asphalt - it slips even on the grass; ((((In my opinion, you shouldn't get involved with this - take the I-502 - this is a kind of "optimum for the people";))) Leha47rus

Enough for less than a year, everything went with the screw. Unfortunately, MShZ has not yet learned how to make reusable rubber. And so all is well. [Ivanushka]

Rubber for UAZ Ya-192

Through the mud - like a tank. On the highway - worse than a tank, in the sense that while you get to the mud, it will shake all the insides.

I tried to compare I-502 and I-192 in deep snow. It was done like this: I drive the I-502 to a certain place and ride there until I bury myself completely. At the same time, I try not to bring all this to the state of a tank range. Then I drive and change wheels quickly. I go there again and try again to ride on specially left strips of untouched snow, parallel to the previous ruts. Conclusion: I-192 is better, but not much.

In the snow, where I drove on a worn 357, 192 falls through, digs and sits. A meter ahead - a meter back more or less. You roll - you go. It is useless to deflate. Vopschem got tired of sex and I put on chains: 0)) It is much better, but damn narrow rubber to disgrace. One devil fails. On the highway, a gear grinder and a hand massager, regardless of the power steering. On the road at 90 km / h, you will love to keep the car. Throws it from side to side. I ran into a cigarette butt for 5 minutes and you catch the road: 0)) It's better not to go on the ice at all, it's useless to slow down, it's useless to steer. I almost blew a chisel: 0) In the morning it was -10 The wheels warmed up 15 km: 0) And the good thing about this rubber is just the diameter of the wheel and the ride on the snow.

Tires for UAZ Ya-409

I drive a Ya-409 year and through the swamp and in the city ... and in the snow. It's just cool in the snow, not bad on the ice. I don’t go slowly on the asphalt, at 140 (if you don’t talk too much about the steering wheel…) Radial tires. Only in the open-pit mine Zvenigorodsky got stuck in a puddle of clay, but I think there was nothing to do there and on the Ya-192. [Kolka]

I have had I-409 for 2 years. It has justified itself only as a winter one, at summer rallies and mud trophies are not cleared at all. At the summer autocross competitions, everyone who was on the I-192 did me.

In the mud, what was offered to her, she succeeded easily. Howling on the highway is not weak, but bearable, well managed. [timosha]

On the ice, of course, g ... oh! On rolled snow, it is wonderful - normal directional stability, maneuverability as on a dry road, in deep snow (up to 40-50 cm) it confidently rushes due to its high profile, but it makes me feel sick, like on a boat. Cleans well, even in wet clay. I don’t regret a bit. Although it is harsh in comparison with other tires. I keep the pressure 1.8 - 1.9.

Now I don't even want to put the 502 back, although there are 4 wheels. Supposed to put 409 only for dirt, and now I do not take it off. But it is really buried in one fell swoop, I had it both in the sand and in the gravel. You famously throttle the rear axle and sit, but as a rule, turning on the front end fixes everything. And more advice on balancing. When they are balancing, ask them not to rush to hang a bunch of loads at once, let the tire twist on the disk. This allowed me to halve the weight of the cargo.

Test report I-409:
Not tested only in a swamp and in deep snow.
Before that I went to 245, and then to 502.

Viscous mud after rain - does not clean itself at all (although we still need to figure out what is put into this concept), the rollers are obtained as in the 245 only wider, but the car goes even though it prowls to the sides, but it confidently climbs up, where there were 245 problems (there was a case to compare, we drove in two cars).
GOOD mud, after a good rain - allows you to drive on one rear-wheel drive, it was not possible to land even once. Even if you rest against bridges and roll backwards for a long time before either making your way forward or going backwards on your own, it doesn’t burrow like 192. I am very pleased with the ability to get out of the rut and not fall back from the edge, it keeps side sliding well on slopes.
Clay - the protector is clogged, but it squeezes out the clay perfectly. This weekend (6 people, 2 dogs, full trunk) I got up on a clay rise of 30 degrees and only then realized that I was driving on the rear axle. He turned on the front end and climbed into the tightness on the second lowered one. At 502, I would not have jerked there.
Golimy rolled ice - I was driving on a rear-wheel drive without showing off, the car behaves quite predictably, starts and slows down normally.
Snow porridge with loose ice - no question, it goes like on the asphalt.
Just asphalt (dry, wet no matter) - more hot than 502 (though I keep 3 atmospheres), a little noisier - but not so much to feel discomfort. Not overclocked until…. I don’t know how many, the speedometer was over 120 on the tachometer 4000 rpm on the gr / bridges normally, the car does not prowl.
Only two wheels are well balanced (up to 100 grams per side), and two (up to 250 grams per side). In short, I'm happy, if I change when, then for some new one or for 33 ". These are my personal conclusions, as you know, which I made for myself in half a year of operation. Dashed off more than 10,000 km, noticeable wear only on the front wheels from the outside. As I understand it, this is a disease of most UAZs, plus fast cornering.

Noise level - when the vents are closed, rubber is generally inaudible, regardless of speed and coverage.
Holds the road well. Repeatedly tried to let go of the steering wheel at a speed of 80-90 km / h - the car rushes like a tank (just doesn't feel right).
Fuel consumption (I have 126 carb.)
In summer - 12.5 liters on the highway (average speed 80 km / h), 14.5 - in the city, of course, when driving with one bridge turned on.
In winter, the consumption on two bridges does not exceed 18 l / 100 km.
Passage:
Sand - very confident, whatever the load;
Snow - rolling on a field with a depth of snow cover up to 40 cm - felt quite comfortable.
Clay (loam) - rides until you sit on bridges, then - well ... :-).
Ice: get under way - better on two bridges, slow down - you can and with one turned on.
Of the negative points - one: the problem is to get out of the rut, the side lugs are very weak.

Conclusion: for everyday use in urban conditions and not very serious off-road conditions - I recommend paying attention to it. Well, it’s better to climb into d..mo, naturally, on more eminent brethren. [Mamaiashvili Sergei Valerievich]

"Cars UAZ-3151, UAZ-31512, UAZ-41514 and their modifications" (operation manual RE 05808600-060.96)

The pressure is indicated in MPa (kgf / m2). The pressure test is carried out on cold rubber.

For fans of video modifications on how to make cuts in rubber on a UAZ:

Buhammers are excellent vehicles for hunting, fishing and for those who live by the "gifts of the forest" - they collect mushrooms and berries for delivery. Space in the back is simply immeasurable, it is easy to take 5-7 people into the wilderness. However, from the factory, absolutely inappropriate tires are installed on the car - the all-season Kama-219. In fact, this is neither fish nor meat - it is not normal to drive through the mud, nor on the highway or on a winter road.

Well, if you want to get deeper into the forest off-road, the tires will definitely need to be changed. Therefore, in this article we will make a selection of minimum and maximum size mud tires that can be installed on the Loaf.

So, the stock tires are 225/75 / R16, in inches it will be 29.3 ″. Thirty inches for a loaf is just tears, it is highly desirable to make at least a minimal revision of the car in order to install at least 32 ″ tires. And as soon as it goes, you will reach 35 ″ - this size is more than optimal, the ground clearance will increase very realistically. But let's not talk about the elevator and cutting arches for now, for a start we will consider what kind of rubber there is in the size of 225/75 / R16 and close to this, but does not require modifications.

Cordiant Off Road

The all-round mud rubber that revolutionized the off-road world. Completely won the lowest price segment, because there are practically no competitors. Available in the size of 225/75 / R16, for the money everything is fine here, the tires are worth their money completely.

For the initial off-road and go fishing this size and this rubber is quite enough. This is purely mud tires, and it is highly discouraged to ride on it in winter. Rows smartly in the mud, however, the "slippers" are extremely oak and it will be uncomfortable to pick out on a specific off-road. In general, it can be recommended for those who do not want to bother with car modifications. As they say - put it on, sat down and drove off. You will go much further than on Kame-219.

Contyre Expedition

One-to-one tread pattern with Cordiants, as well as with the first goodrich. Also available in the standard Bukhanov size. However, the Kontyres are really better than the Cords, because they are noticeably lighter and softer. However, the size here is a little less than the declared one, so in comparison with Korda you will lose about half a centimeter in clearance. For the standard tire size, this is not critical at all, so instead of Cordov it is quite possible to put a Contair Expedition.

Cooper Discoverer STT

This is a chic American mud car, but quite expensive and it is highly discouraged to put such an expensive rubber in such a small size. If you have already decided to put Cooper, then here is the normal size for a Loaf - 265/75 / R15, in inches it is 30.6 ″.

To install everything, you will need to cut the arches, you won't even need to do any elevator. Nevertheless, if you decide to set the standard size - there is also a Cooper 225/75/16. However, size 265 is essentially optimal. If we increase the size even more, then we look towards the increase in the profile - 80 and 85.

On the 16th discs there are tires of excellent size, for the installation of which you will have to prepare the machine a little. Elevator or cutting arches, and even very large sizes - both.

Omskshina Ya-192

Legendary "pyataks", purely Oazovskaya rubber for tru uazovodov. The size is unusual - 215/90 / R15 (in inches it is 30.2 ″). A narrow and tall tire, very often seen on Loaves, Hunters and 469s. Classics of the Oise genre. Excellent rowing of dirt, and if you cut it, it starts digging like an excavator. It is installed without any alterations at all, put it on and went. Great budget option. To whom the already excellent cross-country ability of these tires is not enough, they may well cut the "nickels" through one side block - there will generally be fire!

Omskshina Ya-245

Another classic of the genre, by the tread pattern, of course, you cannot say that the tire is passable, but the Uazovody are an enterprising people, and therefore they manage to make an "all-terrain" out of such rubber - for this it is enough just to cut the tires correctly. The cut Ya-245 is really similar to the Simex Jungle Trekker 2. The size of "Yashek" - 215/90 / R15 (30.2 "), it is most often bought" for cutting "- a great option, how to put extreme rubber on Buhammer at a low price. We highly recommend it.

BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T / A KM2

A new model of goodrichs, which replaced the T / A KM. An excellent size for Buhu - 265/75 / R16, in inches it is already 31.6 ″. To install such good rubber, you can only limit yourself to sharp arches. Goodrich of this modification is specially designed for mountainous terrain, for stones and serpentines. However, it kneads dirt well, but if you compare it with extreme rubber, then the difference will be just colossal. Considering that this size of Goodrich will cost you a very serious amount, it is better to add a little more and put Simex (about them below).

For off-road fans who have decided to prepare the Bukhanther more seriously, we recommend paying attention to the R15 rubber, there is a lot more choice here. However, let's agree right away - we are not afraid to cut the arches and set the cut to 30-32 ″)) In this part of the selection, we will consider rubber in the amount of 30-32 ″ on R15 disks.

Federal Couragia M / T

Available in sizes 265/75 / R15 (30.6 ″) and 255/80 / R15 (31.1 ″). Who needs it, there are also large sizes.

It is optimal to take the second one - a little more clearance, and the improvements are exactly the same - just cutting the arches. Those who do not want to cut arches can make an elevator, but remember that out of 2 evils (cutting or elevator), the elevator is several times worse, since the controllability and safety on turns and rolls deteriorate.

Dried apricots are a serious MUD rubber, not extreme, but much better than Goodrich in cross-country ability. Very soft, and therefore perfectly flattened off-road. Still, it's rare to get into the wilderness without the grass of the wheels. Couragia M / T is not pop, it is serious tires, on which offroaders on the Oise won the competition, making even cars with extreme training and the same tires.

And, of course, consider the "extreme" class rubber in large sizes - only for prepared cars. Cutting arches, lifting the suspension or bodywork - all this will need to be done in order to install these "chic" sneakers, which also stand quite well.

Forward Safari 500

The analogue of the famous Simex is purely extreme rubber, our domestic, and therefore very cheap compared to imported analogs. The only size is 265/75 / R15. From the pros - gorgeously digs dirt, clay, does not get washed out, inexpensive. Of the minuses - very oak and azzy heavy. As a budget option for those who want to seriously increase cross-country ability without critical investments.

Simex Extreme Trekker 2

Size 275/80 / R15 - in inches it is as much as 32.3 ″. Serious size, and the rubber itself is just fire. A classic of the off-road genre, everyone wants to put it, but not everyone has the financial capabilities, because the rubber itself will cost from 50k per set, and even the preparation of the car will result in certain monetary expenses.

Simex Jungle Trekker 2

Jungles are a very desirable rubber, just top class. In the mud, they are really good, pure extreme class. The side lugs are simply monstrous, thanks to them it gets out of the rut without any problems at all. There are simply not many advantages, but there are no disadvantages at all. So if you are looking for extreme all-terrain tires for Loaf - pay attention to Jungle Trekker. The only thing - keep in mind that the dimensions here are really huge. The minimum is 31 × 9.5-16, the minimum for R15 is 31 × 9.5-16. Therefore, in order to put the Dzhangly - Loaf, it will be necessary to specifically refine it. However, if you do this, you will be able to leave in such a jungle where no one but you will reach))
