Which size should I choose?

Let's look at the most popular wheel sizes for Lada Granta R14 and R15, and additionally calculate the tire size for R16 wheels, which they also like to install when tuning their car. Many people choose this disk size for winter tires. The size of the assembled wheel, together with the rubber, which will already touch the fender liner at maximum rotation of the wheel, is 50.12 centimeters. Tires with the following dimensions fit this limit: 175/80 (75-70-65 and below), 185/75 (70-65-60 and below), 195/60 (55-50-45 and below).

Alloy wheels of size R15 are now installed on all modern front-wheel drive AvtoVAZ models. The factory tire size on these wheels is 185/55. But what other sizes can fit this disc diameter? You can install the following tires: 175/70 (65-60-55 and below), 185/60 (55-50-45 and below), 195/55 (50-45-40 and below).

The wheel size of this diameter is installed at the factory on the Lada Granta Sport version, with tire size 195/50. However, at the same time, the rack was shortened from 3.1 turns to 2.9 so that the large wheel fits in the arch. Without any problems, on this wheel diameter you can install tires of sizes: 175/50 (and below), 185/45 (and below) and 195/40 (and below).
