This section provides the works that need to be regularly performed between the maintenance operations provided for by the service book.

8.1. Checking the oil level in the engine crankcase

The oil level must be checked on a cold non-working engine, while the car must be installed on a flat site. The oil level should be between the label "P" and "O" of the rod pointer (closer to the "P" label). If necessary, add oil.

Fresh oil to fill through the oil-wave neck closed by a plug.

8.2. Checking the oil level in the gearbox and rear axle

Checking the oil level must be performed on a car without a load installed on a flat area on cooled units.

The oil level in the gearbox should be on the level of the lower edge of the filling hole - Fig. 8.1.

The oil level in the rear axle (Fig. 8.2) must be in the level of the lower edge of the filling hole.

8.3. Checking the coolant level

Check the level of coolant in the expansion tank 2 (Fig. 8.3) to produce only on a cold engine.

The fluid level in the expansion tank must be on the MIN mark or above it by 30-50 mm.

8.4. Checking the level of electrolyte in the rechargeable battery

The electrolyte level in the battery should be between the MIN and MAX marks (Fig. 8.4) applied on a translucent battery case, and in their absence - along the lower edge of the filling hole.

If the electrolyte level is below the norm, it is necessary to remove the cover 1, unscrew the tube 2 and via the holes 3 to the battery elements to the norm distilled water; Then wrap the plugs 2, after checking the purity of the ventilation holes in them and set the cover 1. After that, it is necessary to wipe the outer surfaces of the battery with a clean rare, moistened in a 10% solution of ammonic alcohol or drinking soda.

It is necessary to constantly monitor the cleanliness of the battery terminals and wire clips, as well as the reliability of their compounds.

When the battery is installed on the car, it is necessary to ensure that the wires are connected in accordance with the polarity indicated on their tips and terminals of the battery (the positive terminal is more negative).

Before installing the battery, it is charged to a density of 1.25-1.27 g / cm 3. Depending on the climatic area of \u200b\u200bthe car operation, the electrolyte density must be adjusted (see the instruction manual for battery batteries).

With a long parking lot of the car, disconnect the battery from the car body to ensure fire safety.

Battery switch (installed on parts of cars). To turn off the battery with a long parking lot or when repairing electrical equipment to the right of the driver's seat, a switch 12 is installed (see Fig. 5.1) of the battery.

In order to avoid failure of certain electrical equipment products, it is not allowed to disconnect the battery with the engine running.

8.5. Checking the oil level in the tank system of the hydraulic power steering of the car GAZ-3309

The steering hydraulic power system tank is set under the hood on the shield of the cab in the left side.

The oil level in the tank must be between the MAX and MIN marks applied on the tank housing.

8.6. Tension of the drive belts of the aggregates

8.6.1. Engine D-245.7 E3

The tension of the fan belt is checked by pressing the middle of the branch between the crankshaft pulleys and the generator with a force of 4.0 DAN (4.0 kgf), and the magnitude of the deflection should be in the range of 12-17 mm. To adjust the belt tension, you must relax the fastening of the generator, turn it and pull the belt.

Tighten the fastening bolt of the generator fastening bolts and nuts. The belt tension is considered normal if it is deflected on the branch of the crankshaft pulley - the pulley of the generator (Fig. 8.6) is in the range of 12-17 mm when it is pressed with an effort 4.0 DAN (4.0 kgf).

8.6.2. Engine ZMZ-5231

Control of belt tension is carried out by a spring dynamometer. The belt is stretched correctly, if with a load of 4.0 DAN (4.0 kgf) in the middle of the site between the pulleys of the generator and the fan about the fan will be within 10-15 mm.

8.7. Care of wheels and tires

During the operation of the car, it is necessary to make a timely suspender of the fastening of the wheels to avoid breaking the mounting holes, remove rust from the wheels and produce their tint.

  • do not allow the car parking on tires lowered;

On the axis should be installed tires having the same tread wear, and more reliable tires should be installed on the front axle of the car.

The maximum degree of wear of the tread tread corresponds to the residual depth of the grooves of 1.6 mm, which is determined by measurement or via wear indicators. 8.8. Replacing the wheel

Wheel replacement to produce in the following order:

  • brake the car parking brake;
  • put stops under the wheels from the side opposite to the wheel removed;
  • weaken the tightening of six nuts to the wheel removable;

  • unscrew the six fastening nuts, change the wheel and return the nuts;
  • lower the car from the jack, slowly opening the locking needle 7, turning it left (counterclockwise);
  • tighten six fastening nuts and remove wedges;
  • bring air pressure to the tires.

When using the jack and storage, the following rules comply:

  1. For the resistance of the car under the wheel of the opposite side, the stops should be put down and slow down the parking brake.
  2. It is forbidden to make any work under the car, raised on the jack.
    To perform adjustment and assembly and dismantling work, you should raise the car to the jack and lower it on the stand.
  3. When storing the jack, the screw must be screwed, the working and injection plungers are omitted, and the locking needle is turned on 1-2 turns.
  4. Fill out the jack with clean-filtered oil of the Navy-C or MGE-10A to the level of the bulk hole.

At ambient temperature to minus 40 ° C, transformer oil is allowed.

Apply other oils and liquids, including brake, is prohibited.

You need to directly eliminate the malfunction of the jack. Looking for oil in plungers and a locking needle is eliminated by pulling up nuts of the glands. The leakage of oil in the connection of the body parts is eliminated by pulling the housing head. When wearing the seals, they should be replaced.

The refusal to work the jack occurs due to the availability of air in the working cavity or due to the blurred valves. To eliminate the fault, you need to easily knock on the injection plug lever and continue the rise. To avoid air from entering the business cavity of the jack, you should not raise the work plunger with a hand with a closed needle.

The incomplete rise of the working plunger of the jack occurs due to lack of oil. It is necessary to periodically check the amount of oil in the jack and add to its low level. The oil level should reach the bulk hole, closed with plug 8.

Failure to work, besides these reasons, may be caused by the ingress of dirt inside the jack. To clean the mud, it is necessary to pour pure kerosene instead of oil and pump the jack at a screwdriver needle, after which it is possible to remove kerosene and pour oil.

8.9. Cabin care

The car's cab is made of modern materials and is protected from corrosion with high-quality protective materials. The automotive coating system consists of several layers:

  • cataphorous primer;
  • the coating enamel of various colors (on a melaminalkide basis or a two-layer acrylic-based system - basic enamel plus varnish).

For anti-corrosion protection and to protect against abrasive wear on the bottom of the cabin, the arches of the wheels, the flooring thresholds in the cataphorasis primer are plastisol mastic hot drying.

The basis of the durability of the cabin is laid by the manufacturer. However, the preservation of the necessary protective and decorative properties of coatings depends on the correct care, climatic conditions, environmental condition of the environment and car storage conditions.

During the operation of the car requires constant prophylactic care for the paint coating of the cabin, which consists in a timely and correct car wash, in processing by polishing means, as well as in the timely tint of damaged areas.

To avoid damage to the paint coating of the cabin, it is necessary to wash it at the first opportunity:

  • after the rain to prevent the aggressive impact of acid precipitation;
  • after driving on the roads, soldered;
  • in case of contact with such pollution, like soot, juice, isolated by the leaves of trees, a bird litter containing chemically active substances that change the color of the decorative coating and cause exacerbation of enamel;
  • with the appearance of dust and dirt sediments.

In the summer, the car should wash outdoors in the shade. If it is impossible, it is necessary to immediately wipe the washed surfaces dry, because when dried droplets of water in the sun on the painted surface, spots are formed. It is not recommended to wash the car in the cold.

The car should wash the soft sponge with the use of car ships. After washing, you should thoroughly rinse the car with a large amount of clean water. It is forbidden to use with polishing aggressive cleaners and other substances that can damage the paint coating of the cabin.

Keep the car in the garage or under the canopy. 8.10. Types of technical car service

The following types of maintenance are installed:

8.11.3. Lubrication car

8.12. Elements replaced by car when maintenance

8.12.1. GAZ-3309 car

  • pouring the system with the help of the pumping pump 2, when the fuel appears, turn first fitting 1, then the plug 3.
