Comfort

There are no serious complaints about the Sonata LF interior. By the standards of the class, it is spacious - there is enough space for people of any size, both front and rear, where the floor is almost flat. The driver's comfort is taken care of by electric seat adjustments and the ability of the steering column to be adjusted in height and reach. Adjusting the driver's seat "for yourself" will not be difficult, especially since its configuration does not need a special fit. The driver's seat itself is quite comfortable - it is moderately hard, with developed lateral support and a rather comfortable headrest. If we forget about the textile, overly synthetic to the touch upholstery of the seats in the basic version (although it is much more practical than skin heated in the sun), then everything inside the sedan is made to last and with attention to detail. To determine by the type of plastic whether it is hard or soft, only those who, for whatever reason, need to find fault with something, will be able to praise a well-chosen texture. The combination of different types of plastic is basically approximately the same - however, there are still more "tin" in the door panels.


Great attention has been paid to ergonomics. Hyundai decided not to reinvent the wheel and use classic solutions. The result is the following: almost all the large keys are placed in 2 rows on the center console, for the sake of normal human logic. Turning on the heated steering wheel, which is adored in our country, is very convenient, as well as displaying the navigation map on the touchscreen of the media system. The instrument panel in the Sonata is strictly traditional, analog, but with a digital appendage between the “wells” of the speedometer and tachometer, as well as backlit with a bluish tint beloved by Asian manufacturers. There are no complaints about its readability and informativeness. For a surcharge, parking sensors, light and rain sensors, a rear-view camera, cruise control with buttons on the steering wheel, blind spot monitoring and an electric parking brake are offered.


In the most affordable version, the car is equipped with a regular radio with MP3 support, 6 speakers, buttons on the steering wheel, Bluetooth wireless protocol and AUX / USB connectors for connecting gadgets. 1) Soundproofing — sellers from AvtoGermes sold good soundproofing. It turned out that it is quiet in the cabin only at low speeds, but as soon as you pick up speed closer to 70 km / h, the noise becomes intrusive and loud. As a result, in normal driving there is no difference between "no insulation" and "poor insulation".

2) Navigation - it seems that it formally exists, but do not believe your eyes - there is no navigation, because the maps are old (very old), the speed of the map processing is unsatisfactory - first you pass the intersection and only after that you will be asked to turn ... there are no traffic jams! It is impossible to update the maps on your own, and even the official dealer does not have a paid update!

3) The sound of the audio system is a confident three. Bluetooth also works for 3 points - incomprehensible reloading of all contacts with each connection, freezes, etc.

4) The work of the wipers in automatic mode — TROUBLE! The “specialist” who designed this needs to have his head torn off! The work of the wipers is incomprehensible - when it rains a lot, they slow down. If you want to overtake a truck in rain or snow, then you need to turn off the machine, otherwise they will simply slow down while overtaking so that it completely blinds. Dangerously! At low speed, they work either quickly or slowly - it's just tin ...

5) Trunk and hood — poorly (difficult) close. This has been tested not only on mine, but also in salons.

The proud representative of the full-size E-Class Hyundai Genesis is also a "thoroughbred" Korean and is assembled at a car factory in Ulsan. This is a relatively new Hyundai model, first seen in 2008.

Where is the Hyundai Equus assembled?


The largest, most expensive premium F class sedan, the Hyundai Equus is the pride of the company. Hyundai Equus has been produced since 1999, however, new cars of the model were not delivered to Russia for the first time, and the Russians saw those only in 2009. Until 2013, Hyundai Equus for Russia were assembled in South Korea in Ulsan. Today, the assembly of Hyundai Equus was mastered at the Avtotor car plant in Kaliningrad, where it is assembled together with Kia Quoris.
