As a result, a production model was created on the basis of the concept, called Tundra.

The company received a fairly large number of orders for the supply of a pickup truck and invested almost $1.2 billion in the construction of a plant in the state of Indiana in Princeton. The estimated capacity of the new enterprise was about 100 thousand cars per year, which at that time amounted to about 6% of total sales.
