Pos system atol sigma 10. Emergency light signaling

23.06.2023

StarLine Sigma 10- the latest digital module 2CAN+2LIN, designed for connecting various electronic devices, including security systems from StarLine and other manufacturers. The module converts CAN and LIN interface signals into device control signals and vice versa - signals from devices into digital CAN and LIN commands. The module provides the following advantages: simple installation of any electronic equipment that supports CAN and LIN, K-Line, RX/TX interfaces, minimal interference with the standard vehicle wiring and additional security and comfort functions. Supports iCAN technology - in the event of a threat, the car's engine is blocked using the car's standard digital buses. Thanks to StarLine Sigma 10, car owners have the opportunity to control the standard security system, central locking, power windows, hazard warning lights, Super Slave mode and other “comfort” functions. When connecting equipment via UART via a digital channel with an open protocol, only two wires are used. The module has 10 universal outputs and 4 inputs to perform various functions.

Equipment:

  • digital module Sigma 10;
  • wires;
  • package;
  • installation instructions;
  • warranty card.

Module StarLine Sigma 10(hereinafter referred to as the module) is intended for installation on cars together with electronic equipment from any manufacturer. The module allows you to implement in the car such functions as hidden engine blocking using iCAN technology, control of the central locking, standard security system and the comfort function, reading the status of limit switches, ignition, ACC, etc. The list of supported functions for your car can be found on the website can.starline.ru.

After completing the installation of the module, in accordance with the connection diagram, it is necessary to configure the module StarLine Sigma 10 on a computer using an application or using a button on the module in the programming menu.

Configuring the module using a button

Entering the programming menu

To enter programming mode, follow these steps:

  1. With the module powered on, press and hold the Program button. 5 beeps will follow, during which you must keep the button pressed.
  2. Release the button when the signals stop. 4 long beeps will follow, indicating that the security equipment has entered programming mode.

Selecting a car number

All vehicles supported by the module are registered in the protocol library under unique 4-digit numbers. You can find these numbers on the website can.starline.ru. After installation, you need to save the number corresponding to your car into memory.

To record a unique 4-digit number, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the programming mode and press the programming button once to select the first section of the programming menu. One beep will confirm the selection of the first menu section.
  2. Press the programming button the number of times corresponding to the first digit of the vehicle number. The module will confirm the entered value with a series of sound signals, the number of which will correspond to the first digit of the car number.
  3. Enter the remaining digits of the car number in the same way, waiting for a sound confirmation after entering each digit.

    If the programming button is pressed more than 9 times, the module will emit 4 short beeps and return to the main programming menu.

    2 seconds after confirming the entry of the last digit of the vehicle number, the module will issue one of a series of sound signals:

    • 2 short beeps - the number is entered correctly and stored in the module memory;
    • 4 short beeps - an error has occurred, the entered number will not be saved.

Once you have completed entering the vehicle number (regardless of the result), you will be taken to the main programming menu.

Parameter programming

Programming of parameters is carried out using the programming button in accordance with the diagram displaying the programming menu.

The “Channel Programming” menu is available for modules with software version 1.2 and higher.

Programming sequence:

  1. Enter the programming menu.
  2. Select the required section of the main programming menu by pressing the programming button the number of times corresponding to the number of the menu section. The selection will be confirmed by a series of beeps. Then select the required option in the same way.

    If the programming button is pressed more times than the number of programming menu items, the module will emit 4 short beeps and remain in the main programming menu. If no parameter is selected within 10 seconds after entering the programming mode, the module will emit 4 long warning beeps and return to normal operation.

    To determine the current state of the selected parameter, wait for the sound signals to sound, the number of which will correspond to the parameter value. If necessary, you can proceed to change the state of a parameter immediately after selecting it, without waiting for notification signals about the current state.

    Press the programming button the number of times corresponding to the desired parameter state value. 2 seconds after the installation is complete, a series of sound signals will sound, the number of which will correspond to the state of the parameter (1 sound signal - enabled, 2 sound signals - disabled). After another 2 seconds, 2 short beeps will follow, indicating that the parameter state has been successfully changed and the menu of the selected item has been entered.

    If the programming button is pressed more than 3 times or if the parameter value is not set within 5 seconds after entering the menu sub-item, the system will emit 4 short beeps and return to the menu of the selected item.

    To proceed to programming the next parameter, repeat the steps outlined in paragraphs 2...4, selecting a menu item and changing its state.

Description of programmable functions

Status signals

Allow/prohibit receiving signals from digital buses CAN, LIN of the vehicle. These parameters allow you to disable the ability to receive status signals from the CAN and LIN digital buses.

Control functions

Hazard warning lights

Allows you to assign hazard light control to a channel via digital CAN and LIN buses.

Closing the central lock and opening the central lock

Allows you to assign central locking control to a channel via digital CAN and LIN buses.

Closing the central locking system with the "comfort" function »

Allows you to assign simultaneous control of central locking and the “comfort” function (closing windows and folding mirrors) to a channel via digital CAN, LIN buses.

F"comfort" function »

Allows you to assign control of the “comfort” function to a channel (closing the windows and folding the mirrors when the security system is turned on).

Opening the trunk

Allows you to assign trunk control to a channel via digital CAN and LIN buses.

iCAN blocking

This function allows you to implement blocking on the channel using iCAN technology by prohibiting starting or blocking the engine. Startup is inhibited when an active signal level appears at the input and continues until the signal disappears. Blocking of a running engine occurs once when an active signal level appears at the input.

Preheater

Allows you to assign control of the engine preheater to a channel via digital CAN and LIN buses.

Keyless lock

The function creates an additional level of protection against theft in the event of theft of the car's standard key. When the input to which the function is assigned is activated, the module blocks the operation of the keyless entry system.

Imitation of driver's door

Allows you to assign a driver door simulation function to a channel.

Additional functions

Parameter "Sequential door opening"

Enabling/disabling the function of sequential unlocking of door locks via digital CAN, LIN buses.

Parameter “Manage standard alarm”

Allows you to automatically arm and disarm the standard alarm system when arming and disarming the complex.

Parameter "Comfort function by SLAVE"

Allows you to automatically close the windows in the “Slave” mode when arming.
